Smooth, Scenic, and Superbly Organized I joined a 6-Day Marangu Route hike with Kilisa Tours, and the whole experience was seamless. Designed for those who want to truly live in the wild, this tour offers prime locations for witnessing the Great Migration and close encounters with the Big Five. Campsites are carefully chosen for both comfort and wildlife access, blending the thrill of safari with moments of luxury. The tour’s USP? An authentic camping experience in the heart of the action, allowing you to feel nature’s pulse day and night.

day 1 - Arrive to Kilimanjaro International Airport

On arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be personally met and escorted by our staff to the heart of Tanzania’s safari center where you’ll spend the night at Green Mountain hotel/Similar. Optional activities including, shopping or visiting the Tanzanite Experience museum are available for those who arrive early.

day 2 - Arusha - Arusha National Park

Leave from Arusha in the morning, drive to the nearest beautiful park - The Arusha National park for game drive. Optional activities includes walking safari with an armed ranger guide and Canoe safari (with extra cost of 30$ pp for walking safari and 90$ pp for canoe safari). This beautiful park offers a magnificent views both for Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. After an extensive game drive, later return to Arusha for overnight at Masai Camp.

day 3 - Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National park with picnic lunches for game drive. The park famous for the big herds of Elephants, Zebras, Giraffes and other animals. Leave the park in late afternoon drive to the campsite.

Dinner and overnight will be spent at Jambo Campsite.

day 4 - Serengeti National Park

In the morning you depart for the Serengeti National park for afternoon and sunset game drives through the vast Serengeti National Park to Seronera Campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

day 5 - Serengeti National Park

Full day game drives in the Serengeti, home to the greatest concentration of large mammals on earth. Non-migratory species include large prides of lions, solitary leopards, cheetah and graceful impala. The landscape is characterized by vast stretches of open plains, punctuated by kopjes, rock formations that have survived from the Pre-Cambrian period, and open woodlands.

Dinner and overnight at Seronera Public Campsite.

day 6 - Serengeti / Ngorongoro

An early breakfast, collect your picnic lunch boxes for another game drive through the central Serengeti until mid-day. After lunch leave the Serengeti to the southern part border of Ngorongoro and the famous Serengeti plains to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arrive there in late afternoon for sunset views.

Overnight at Simba Campsite.

day 7 - Ngorongoro Crater Tour

An early morning breakfast, then descend into the crater floor (2000 feet) and drive through the lerai forest with its yellow-barked acacias, searching for giant-tusked elephant, rare black rhino and black-manned lion. Likely you may see the ''big five'' - Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino and Leopard. Late afternoon ascend the crater wall to Lake Manyara escarpment for overnight stay.

day 8 - Lake Manyara National Park/ Arusha

After breakfast, enter to the Lake Manyara National Park, passing through the cool shade of the groundwater forest before reaching the lakeshore. The Park is best known for its tree climbing lions, but you are more likely to an encounter elephants, buffalo, primates and astounding bird life. After a picnic lunch you continue game-viewing until the late afternoon drive to Arusha for your own accommodation.
