I had the absolutely best time. To see and experience so much wildlife and to meet some many wonderful people on one tour made this one of the most enjoyable National Geographic Journeys I have done. I look forward to the next Journey in Africa and beyond!
It was amazing. Unfortunately I was not able to fully enjoy it, but through no fault of G Adventures-National Geo.
Although we've traveled independently as well as with a number of other tour companies over the years, this was our first trip with G Adventures/National Geographic Journeys. We loved everything about this tour - the itinerary, group size, accommodations, and of course our excellent tour CEO. This was an amazing trip and we hope to travel with G Adventures again!
Overall it was an excellent experience. It is a great value for what you get to see and experience. As this is an area of the world we would likely not plan and travel to on our own without a tour, we were happy using National Geographics for our trip. Our CEO Jaym helped make our trip even better as he was there to guide and inform us as well as answer any questions we had for the entire 10 days. We found it to be a very educational experience and were happy to know that our money was going back into the communities that we were visiting.
The cliche? ?The trip of a lifetime!!? The experiences of being among the animals & their behavior in their wild homes was previously unimaginable! I was very happy to experience the trip with a small group of wonderful, previously unknown, people. Our safari guides were exceptional! Very, very knowledgeable & happy to share their knowledge. Their tracking skills were very remarkable also.
