The trip was well organized and managed. Our tour guide Maribel was great and very friendly, she made sure everything was covered as per plan and provided relevant information at every step.

The Christmas & New Year's Eastern Highlights Tour with Expat Explore was an unforgettable experience, offering a perfect blend of festive charm, cultural discovery, and breathtaking scenery. At times, it felt like stepping into a fairy tale or being inside a snow globe, with picturesque landscapes, twinkling lights, and charming old towns covered in snow. Our guide, Mica, was truly exceptional—organized, knowledgeable, and incredibly empathetic. She made sure everyone felt comfortable while ensuring a smooth and well-paced journey. Our driver, Alex, was fantastic as well, navigating long distances with skill and safety, making the journey stress-free. We had an amazing trip over Christmas and New Year. It was very fast paced so be prepared. You will see and experience a lot. We made new friends and enjoyed every minute of it. We will be travelling with Expat again.

This was one of the best tours I've ever taken. Our Tour Leader PK was the best part of the trip. He kept things lively and fun no matter what we were doing, and the time flew by on the bus. From Rome to Venice, Germany and Amsterdam the Christmas part was full of glorious Christmas Markets and good cheer. We had such a good time we forgot where we were sometimes. Paris was the highlight for me, we did an excursion "Paris like the locals" and saw everything from The Arc de Triumph to Notre Dame in beautiful beret's that Peter brought us. Truly one of the best days of my life!!! Switzerland was glorious with a splendid Chalet and a really fun bar right next door. We finished off with Lake Como, Pisa and Florence. New Year's was in Rome, with all of it's splendor. How could you not fall in love with a trip like this??? Please take this tour, I promise you'll not be disappointed. Can't wait to do it all over again!!

Three of us girlfriends decided it was time for an Italian cultural recharge, and we picked the rail tour to hit the highlights with ease. We explored Rome and saw the Coloseum as we opted for an optional tour. Florence was also beautiful. Venice was pure magic. Our shared gondola ride under the Bridge of Sighs (with just six in the gondola) felt cozy and unforgettable . We spent afternoons discovering boutique shops and colorful squares. For us, this tour struck the perfect balance. Relaxed evenings with wine and laughter. The train travel was a breeze, everything was well-coordinated.

This was our first tour with the team, and it won’t be our last! The Italian Discovery tour was well-organized, and we saw so much in just ten days. Rome’s ancient sites, Venice’s unique charm, and the beautiful Tuscan countryside were all amazing. Special thanks to our bus driver and guide, Marco, for their professionalism and making the trip enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Italy comprehensively.
