The App is helpful, but need to have a better idea of where and when we will be arriving at a city. Florence is probably the most interesting place to visit - especially the art, but you had us there on Monday when all of the museums were closed. Plan another day in the week for Florence. Found out that there are 3 Michelangelo sculptures in the Siena cathedral but arrived to late to see them. Too much time walking around inconsequential towns while missing some of the greatest attractions.

Overall an excellent tour. The hotels were lovely, my least favorite being the one in Sestri Levante. The food improved vastly once we got to Tuscany. The restaurant we ate at in Stresa was terrible and disliked by most of the group. And the hotel restaurant at Grand Hotel dei Castelli was not good, bland at best, with minute portions. Once in Tuscany, the hotel restaurant was very good as well as the place in Bologna. And while the hotel in Venice was well located, the breakfast left much to be desired. Our final dinner in Venice was excellent. As for the inclusions, everyone’s favorite was the cooking class and meal at Giada’s. She was very gracious and made us feel welcomed and not like another tour group. We all hated to leave. And our in depth tour of Siena was interesting, making it easy to understand the history around the Palio. Our stay in Florence was short but sufficient for me. Stopping at the place where you could buy aged parm cheese was fun as well. The Carrara marble quarries were interesting as well. Next time I’d make the Murano trip optional. It was only mildly interesting and everything they sold was overpriced. I can say the same for the recommended jewelry and leather store. But the trip had a good pace and the scenery was lovely.

The tour included many of the high profile sites, and included unusual visits to a hands on cooking class, a visit to a parmigiana-reggiano cheese school; and the process of making balsamic vinegar. A very interesting presentation on the craftsmanship of oar making in Venice. A unique visit to San Marino. The Catacombs visit was remarkable, as was the Sistine Chapel. Throughout our tour Ned provided intricate detail of each city and places of interest which were valuable. His care throughout the trip was evident and truly appreciated.

This was a wonderful tour giving us the opportunity to see so many beautiful places, particularly smaller towns and many regions of Italy. Beatrice was an absolutely fabulous tour leader and really made the tour special for us. She was informative, well organised, vivacious and took every opportunity to look after us and make our time in Italy so enjoyable. All the included lunches and dinners were high quality, much more than I expected and had experienced in group dining situations before. All accommodation was also high quality, comfortable and conveniently situated. The tour's itinerary was quite full, without a lot of downtime. But having said that, it allowed us to make the most of our time in Italy and meant that we never had more than two hours on the bus at one stretch. I would highly recommend this tour to others looking for an in depth experience of Italy.

Tour leader Saverio Ranieri very informative,We left our Ipad behind in the hotel much to our surprise 3days later we receive our Ipad Nothing was to much trouble for Saverio Our driver Farvio was also very helpful. The tour was very interesting taking us to places that big buses couldn't were foodwas supplied it was very good never left hungry Summing-up a good tour we were a little tired at the end maybe one more 2 day stop would have helped

The favorite thing was the cooking class with Giada. Venice was great but only having a total of approximately 29 hours is not enough time there. I would take less time at the villa where we stayed 4 days and give another day to Venice. Our tour manager Luca was very informative and interesting. I did enjoy all the towns we visited and to see the difference in their food was interesting.
