The expertise & knowledge of our tour leader, Danil was exceptional. The areas we visited were so interesting and we were blessed with great weather. I have been to Italy before but had never seen the Northern areas.

The tour guide, Daniele, was brilliant. His passion and knowledge of Italian history was boundless. The whole trip was fun, informative and entertaining. Staying at different places such as a Castle, Jewish Quarters, Sprawling Villas, was an added delight as were the extras such as wine tasting and truffle hunting and a cooking lesson! Such good value and in a small group...perfetto!

This was a great tour. Small group which was great as you got to know everyone. Guide and driver were both great. Helpful at all times and nothing was a problem to either of them. Our guide was always helpful with all the weird questions. Would be good if tipping was included some how as Australians just aren’t used to it. Would highly recommend Back Road tours as it really is good to be off on different highlights to see on your tour that is a little off the beaten track.

Just amazing. I didn’t realise just how beautiful Italy is. I loved the way we did do back roads things. Not just the main highlights. Tour operator was helpful, fun, informative. Driver was great. Would recommend Blue-Roads to anyone. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 it’s 5 stars from me.

This was a wonderful adventure travelling many kilometres during which time our tour director noted and explained the approaching landmarks in such detail Including detailed facts, dates and figures. Her knowledge was exceptional. Tastings and cooking class were fun and informative and too the truffle hunt including lunch. Accommodation was very good and interesting and having our luggage looked after was great. Our tour director was very caring and helpful. All-in-all, it was a memorable tour

From the moment our guide ( Helio da Costa ) introduced himself we knew we were on the right tour. Each destination was filled with little tit bits & on occasions little treats from Helio. Our driver (Fabio) gave us the best possible ride, with no-one feeling travel sickness. We certainly found roads that would have changed this but his smooth driving left us in awe. Very much appreciated by everyone.
