The Trip at all was very good. The Guides are very polite and they can tell you many things about the places you see. They also know a lot of secret lokations where you can get good food or perfekt souveniers. The Hotels are all good and they provide a breakfast with food for everyone The only bad thing and this is NOT the bad of the company or of the Guides are the spanish tourists... Some of them just don`t know how to be on point and some of them have a really bad behavior.

Excellent

Back Roads of Japan was well-organized and seamlessly operated. Izumi, our amazing tour guide handled all the details with grace and efficiency, making our travel planning stress-free. She provided insights into local culture, history, and geography, enhancing the overall experience. This tour covered exploration of two big cities, Tokyo and Kyoto, as well as visiting smaller sites for hiking, cycling and cultural immersion. Visits to Buddhist temples and Shonto shrines were fascinating. Indulging in a variety of Japanese food was a highlight of the trip.

The hotels and planed activities were great, transportation as well. I saw a lot in this trip and had lots of great new experiences. What I did not expect was that most of the group would be spanish speakers and the english speakers to be a small minority. Also the tour guides were pretty mixed. Btw I can’t really rate them since only the spanish speaking guides are showing up In general I had the feeling that the native spanish speaking guides were interacting more with the spanish group and a bit less with the english group. It seemed otherwise with the native Japanese guides Akane and Ken, but it might be due to the small english group on the trip compared to the spanish speakers. Also some guides like “Pacco” or Miguel gave us very little background Information to the visited sites compared to other guides. But I was really happy with our Guide Ken whom I had for most of the trip, so I don’t feel bad about it. Thank you very much for a great time

Overall very well organised and conducted except that on Day 3 16 April in Kyoto, we were left after visit to Gion district and expected to get back to the hotel by ourselves using bus or taxi. Given the long day alternate transport should have been arranged.

Even though we requested vegetarian food, only salad and fruits were provided. It would be good to improve this. Hotel and Tokyo tour should be improved. Guides specified below are incorrect. We had Martin and Francisco not Ricardo and Laura.

It was nice to be in group with mixed origins. The itinerary was chalked out nicely. Pick ups and drop offs were punctual. Almost all guides were good, some excellent and a few so so. And Japan as such is a courteous country ?? The availability of Gluten free food should not be left to guides as it’s too late . If Europamundo takes initiatives snd inform all their vendors/hotels, the availability of GF meals and breaks Fast will be more appropriate. Europamundo should not take Gluten allergy lightly as it’s too late serves customers from Europe, UK, Australia etc Guides: Special mention about your guides is important. Asoaka was very cordial, helping and courteous guide. Ken was extraordinary. It is important for agency to know about Ken, he is full of praise ??other tourist can take benefit of Kens expertise and please pass it on to him as he himself should know feel that we tourist do appreciate GOLD. Yes Ken is a GOLD guide, an asset to Europamundo, took care of whole of our group, explained things so well and in a very interesting way. We had a particular problem of Gluten allergy, but Ken’s proactive approach to provide Vandana Gluten free meals till we were with him was amazing. Asoaka also helped with the GF meals., and walked extra miles to help us. The way both Asoaka and more so Ken helped their co-guides on a bilingual tour was amazing. We never felt that they ignored the English speaking tourists and we could see and appreciate that they covered in Spanish the deficiencies of their co-guides in a very polite and nice way. I know it would be asking too much snd almost impossible, but we do feel that we get such guides always. Thank you so much Atul and Vandana
