Tokyo Tours in June 2027

It was good an opportunity to see many highlights of Japan, with a nice mixture of city and country. The transportation was efficient with a combination of buses and trains. The experience of Japanese cuisine was interesting. Some people, including some of my family would have enjoyed being able to choose from a menu rather than being served and wasting the food. I think some people preferred to have more free time to shop at certain places. Overall, I think the itinerary was excellent and our tour guide did a fantastic job

The tour hits all the important spots in Japan and is well organized. The tour involves a lot of walking, as much as 5 to 7 miles some days so this for hardy folks, not anyone who needs any mobility assistance. I thought there was a bit too much free time on some days. But I guess that is personal preference. Excellent cultural experiences like tea ceremony, lacquer boxes, sushi making, Japanese cooking, and painting. Japan is beautiful ɓut plan your trip around the heat and rainy season!

This trip was an unforgettable introduction to Japan — beautifully organized, culturally rich, and full of memorable experiences. From the thoughtful itinerary to the excellent guide and unique local activities, everything was seamless and enriching from start to finish.

the itinerary was efficiently designed to allow us to see the most of Japan as possible. However, it was quite taxing to the seniors like us and I would recommend that Trafalgar consider setting up a two-tier approach, one for seniors over 70 and then the rest. that said, we truly enjoyed our trip and special accolades to our tour director . She was dedicated, efficient and very caring on how her clients were at all times.

Do not have a favorite because the entire tour was wonderful. It was very fun to make sushi and learn how to stencil. The hands on experiences were very unique and enjoysble

From the first day arriving in Tokyo to the last day leaving Kyoto, everything was well executed and went smoothly. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. There were many memorable experiences from gold leafing, making sushi, stenciling and the amazing dinner experiences. Japan is truly an awe inspiring experience.
