Sho made for an amazing trip to Japan - it was the perfect mix of activity and free time and Sho helped us navigate each place with ease.
The G Adventures tour to Japan was fabulous! Our guide was superb. It would have been hard to cover so much ground on our own. Having the chance to explore this incredible country with her enhanced our appreciation for the history and culture immeasurably. We loved meeting our fellow travelers and now have a number of new friends from this shared experience.
The whole experience was wonderful! Right from the places we visited to the experiences that were part of the trip. The traditional Japanese dinner with all of us in kimonos, the tea ceremony by Takae our guide and stay at a traditional Japanese guest house are all experiences that will stay with us.
This was a very active vacation — a rich sampling of the cultural heritage, food, and history of Japan. From the most bustling cities of Tokyo and Kyoto to the quietest snow-capped towns of Kanazawa and Takayama, this was a meaningful and memorable experience. Be prepared to pack carry-on only, walk a LOT and navigate crowds, but know you’ll eat delicious sushi, locally-grown beef, and get both history lessons and personal stories if you’re lucky enough to get Takae as your guide :) Thank you for the trip of a lifetime!
We had a good and relaxing time in Japan and learned a lot in this short period of time.
