The guide can make or break a trip irrespective of the itinerary and Tom Fallen was one of the best we’ve had. He went above and beyond the base itinerary and his love of Japan, its culture, and its food was infectious.

This was a trip of a lifetime. I've wanted to travel to Japan for years; I love the culture and have many interests that stem from it, including martial arts & religion, and Yoko, our guide, made this a trip I'll cherish forever. I couldn't have asked for a better guide into Japan and its culture and people, and the included experiences were fun, the sites wondrous to see, and the variety of experiences--from inner city Tokyo, to rural Edo-era Tsumago, to small cities Kanazawa & Hiroshima, to the mix of it all that is Kyoto--was perfectly arranged. I just loved it.

Japan in a week was incredible! The tour and the people were a blast and created memories ill cherish for the rest of my life! Tokyo and Kyoto were amazing, the Nara Deer park add on is well worth the money and day! I do wish we spent a little more time in Osaka however

China: fantastic trip, saw the sites, are good food, learned, Howard was top notch, pace and transport was perfect and all well-timed Japan: Hidemi was great but there was too much trudging in the rail / metro system. Koyasan and Hakone were not worth it in my opinion for the amount of work it took to get there.

My trip to Japan was unforgettable and perfectly organized. The tour guide's knowledge and enthusiasm brought every moment to life, enhancing my understanding of Japan's culture and history. From Tokyo's energy to Kyoto's tranquility, each destination felt magical. I made new friends along the way, sharing laughter and experiences that added warmth to the journey. Above all, I felt safe and supported throughout, allowing me to fully enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

A very pleasant experience with some outstanding guides who were very friendly and some who had exceptional in-depth knowledge. The tour itinerary was well adhered to and showcased the beauty of Japan. Certain improvements suggested would be -a the visit to Zojoji Temple in Tokyo may be substituted by some other attraction since there are visits to 2 other Temple/Shrine on the same day and therefore becomes one dimensional; b except for the first 2 days, the buses did not have charging points on the seats, which is essential since the tour involves travelling long distances; c the accommodation provided at Moxy Hotels in Tokyo Osaka were underwhelming and certainly not 4 star as promised in the itinerary. About the guides - the questionnaire unfortunately does not mention the names of our English-speaking guides. Therefore, I would like to specially mention about a Nadia, who was with us in Tokyo – she is such a vivacious personality who endeared herself to the entire Group; b Asoaka and Laura who were with us at Kawaguchiko, Iyashi No Sato Nemba and Kyoto – Asoaka managed the English speaking tourists very well with her local knowledge, beaming smile, extroverted nature and caring attitude Laura, who though primarily managing the Spanish speaking tourists, also mixed very well with us and helped us whenever we sought any information; c Ken Rei, a proud Japanese and an absolute professional, who impressed us with his knowledge – not only of the Japanese culture/religion but having travelled the world, he had very sharp insights and views on a wide spectrum of subjects. The Osaka and Hiroshima leg of the trip was made all the more memorable by his contributions.
