It was a well organised trip with a lot of game drive Safaris. Accommodation was good except for a couple of places that were very basic. Food was always plenty and good.

It was well designed and from arrival at the airport to departure it was a caring and pleasant experience. The tour agency ensure we had a comfortable flight and the coordination of the safari was excellent.

Excellent experience, action packed with a lot of big 5 sightings! The tour started off in Kenya and then ended in Tanzania. Great guides in both locations who were able to educate while also show us all the birds and animals. Highly recommended!

The accommodation was excellent The tour guides unbelievable in their knowledge and ‘eyesight’ I have done 7/8 Trafalgar tours now and this is the first one that the ‘optional experiences’ were NOT organised by Trafalgar but by the Lodges where you stayed - plus the hot air balloon not on the optional list I will advise people NOT to do this 14 day safari as it is too much of a double up of the same animals but to choose a 9 day one for example. I was truly excited and tingly to see the animals in the flesh but after 12 days it got a bit ho hum - for me anyway It was unfair for the Tanzanian guides that we had seen it all in Kenya and then there were less animals -and huge distances to travel just for the guides to try and find animals for us to see. The mineral water was not the best on the Kenyan tour Great to have cold bottled water on Tanzanian tour The toilet stops perfectly timed Recommend that shoe covers be offered when you go into a Maasai village Absolutely not sorry that I did the safari Once in a life time Thank you …..But my photos wouldn’t download !!

"My Family had the pleasure of embarking on an incredible journey organized by this tour operator, which included a Kilimanjaro trek and an unforgettable safari experience. From start to finish, their meticulous planning and exceptional service made this trip an absolute dream come true. First and foremost, the communication with Joan was outstanding. From the initial inquiry to the final details, their team was attentive, prompt, and knowledgeable. They patiently answered all my family questions and provided valuable insights to ensure I had a clear understanding of what to expect throughout the trip. The guides and porters were not only highly skilled and experienced but also genuinely passionate about their work. They took great care of our group, ensuring our safety and well-being at every step of the journey. Their expertise and encouragement played a significant role in reaching the summit successfully. The accommodations provided were excellent. From cozy lodges to comfortable campsites, every location was carefully selected to offer a comfortable respite after a challenging day of trekking. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a good night's rest and rejuvenation. After conquering Kilimanjaro, the safari experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The carefully curated itinerary allowed us to explore the breathtaking landscapes and witness the diversity of wildlife that Tanzania has to offer. From the vast Serengeti plains to the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, each destination provided a unique and awe-inspiring encounter with nature. We strongly recommend this local agency. . "

The African Adventure tour was an adventure every day. The itinerary was well thought about and planned but some areas need adjusting and up-dated as part of quality assurance. The tour guides /drivers listened to us and they made every effort to meet your safari requests. The hotels were fantastic. Native styles and architectural designed. Every effort is made to make you feel welcomed, safe and secure. Everyone smiled and said "Jambo" (hello). The hotel chefs prepared 3 course meals and catered for your dietary needs. There was some entertainment too. The animals seen on safari were in their natural habitats whilst others were part of the Great Migration. The dirt road from Kenya to Tanzania was too much. This dirt road is dreadful and in poor condition. The plan was to get to border Immigration in a certain timeframe and then to our next destination. We needed to stop and have some refreshments which did not happen and we were left tired and unhappy. This was poor planning. On the last day of the Tanzania trip, there was some confusion about where the trip actually finished. This was again was poor planning and left us upset. Written and oral communication needs to improve to make African Adventure tours better.
