Faced with the variety of Turkish and Greek cuisine, I felt the need to try every dish and fell in love with the vegetarian meals! The tour guides, one for Greece and one for Turkey, were flawless. The cuisine was the Mediterranean diet on steroids, and the hotels well exceeded our expectations. We were glad we were on a smaller group tour (with 18 other Australians) because there are many more possibilities for exploring than on larger group tours.
