Florence City sightseeing Trips

I loved this trip! The places we went to were amazing! The small towns; Orvieto, San Gimignano etc were such gems. Although quite fast paced; I didn't get to shop. I would've loved to have more time in Florence. The only pitfalls for me was the accommodation and food; the hotels; simply not great at all, but at least clean with nice hot water for showers after long days in the street in Italy - which I enjoyed. I love walking so I was in my element. The food was really DISMAL! All of the included dinner were absolutely horrible, my gluten intolerance was not catered for. In Florence we were served canned meatballs and potatoes!! I ate none of the included dinners because of how horrible the food offered was, I would just go elsewhere and buy myself a fitting meal. I think Expat should explore other restaurant partners to make this tour even more amazing. I would do Expats again. The people were also lovely.

It was a very good trip and I would definitely recommend it. The instruction prior to leaving and the bikes were good, I really liked the hotels we stayed in and the breakfasts were excellent. The luggage arrival was seamless. I thought the countryside was beautiful and we really lucked out with the weather. The app generally worked well--I would advise bringing a portable charger. It was an adventure, and the cycling was long some days, I definitely felt like I accomplished something.

I had a wonderful time on the Italian Discovery tour. The itinerary was well-thought-out, covering all the must-see locations. Giulia, our guide, was excellent, providing insightful commentary and always willing to answer questions. The hotels were comfortable, especially in Rome. Thanks to the entire team for an amazing trip!

We enjoyed the Italian Discovery tour, which was well-organized and covered many iconic sites. Florence’s art museums and the gondola ride in Venice were personal highlights. The tour was quite fast-paced, which was both exciting and a bit tiring at times. The overall experience was great, and we felt we saw a lot of Italy in just ten days. Affordable price and available on a short notice. We were able to book the trip within a few days on a limited budget. Great team of young and pleasant tour guides. We had a wonderful time.

Our trip happened May 4-15,2025 called the Europe Escape. We had a trip of our life time. Shout out to Peter H our fantastic and patient tour guide and to our most experienced and knowledgeable driver Kristoff who made our travel safe all through out. Some hotels were ok but not bad especially European hotels and buildings were built in the late 1850's to early 1900. elevator/lift can accommodate 4 people or 2 people with luggage. It's a fast pace tour and anyone with Arthritic pain or any bodily pain not recommended. For me whatever situation we encounter from day to day is part of our travel experience that we can reminise in our memories .
