It was thought out very nicely and enough knowledge about what the area offered. Our tour guide was wonderful and made the trip so realistic and knew the small history, local and historical. She was by far the best guide I have been with on such a trip
Tour guide was ABSOLUTELY awesome. Hard to pick one experience but she included some little-known options like the sacred wells/springs from way back in Gaelic history. Learning about the culture (through GAA games, description of architecture, etc.) was something I likely would have missed if I had gone on my own. THe thing I did not like (but which worked out) was that I understood our tour group was 6 people but that we needed 12 for a liaison. When I asked what this meant, I did not get an explanation that we'd be merged into a much larger group. I did not prefer being far away from towns for hotels such as Rine and Gerryvoe. Trinity City in Dublin was great. Upper level staff at Rine was also now very aware of how customer service is supposed to work. The actual servers and next level down employees were great. Just the top dogs acted like you were rather an encumbrance to be managed. Tour gets 5 starts largely because our tour guide, our bus driver and the places visited. Food was variable as was hotel.
Loved Edinburgh, could have spent more time there! Enjoyed the sheep dog exhibition. The dos and the sheep were so fascinating and the farm was just beautiful!! I also very much enjoyed the Giant’s Causeway. Nature has such a sense of humor. The weaving demonstration was interesting and the fabrics they produced were extremely well made. Had I not lived in the South of the United States, I might have bought more than a scarf, but in general, we have very little need for clothing made of wool. Much of the trip was fascinating. I think I loved most how friendly the people were and they seemed to enjoy us being in their home land.
Excellent! !Lots of extra options on tour. Every stop was a super experience! The guide was truly so informative and nothing was too much to please all her clients! 10 out of 10!!
It was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Our Tour Director, Michelle Worthington, was knowledgeable, organized, and genuinely passionate about sharing the stories and traditions of Ireland and Scotland. We also felt very luck to have a fantastic bus driver Kevin. They made a great team and the trip truly enjoyable.
The tour of Ireland and Scotland was excellent. The itinerary was great and just the right amount of days. Trafalgar was also exceptional to deal with being our first tour . Would recommend them to anyone and would definitely use them again. Thank you
