Hungary Eco Tours
From the unique Aggtelek National Park to the other-worldly Lake Balaton, Hungary has so much natural beauty to explore. It’s because of this that Hungary eco tours are becoming increasingly popular. Enjoy sustainable day tours to Hortobágy National Park and learn from a biologist or stay with locals or eat at local hotspots to promote sustainable tourism. One of the best things about eco-tours in Hungary is that all your transportation, accommodation, and tours are going to be carbon offset by the tour company. This means you can kayak across Lake Balaton, wander the streets of Budapest on a sustainable walking tour without big buses, or enjoy a wine tour, supporting a local producer without worrying about leaving a hefty carbon footprint. Choose from private tours, group tours, or even self-guided tours to Hungary — eco tourism is for everyone! Here are some of our favorite Hungary eco-tours to explore.
We guarantee the best prices on all our tours. If you find a lower price within 24 hours of booking, we'll match it.

It is very rushed with many one night stops. Road Conditions, Traffic, and many border crossings make the days in the bus very long.
All sites visited were historical, impressive, memorable. Our tour guide’s knowledge of these sites was extensive and he relayed all history in a manner we could easily understand. We also visited an Ossuary near Prague, catacombs under St. Stephen’s Chapel in Vienna, The Shoes on the Danube in Budapest, along with the Hospital In The Rock, The House of Houdini. Saw the Vienna Boys Choir after a mass delivered in German and Latin, that we understood not a word of, in Vienna. The entire experience was wonderful, very worthwhile!!!
Excellent itinerary covering the main historical sites of the region. Walking tours are a valuable part of the experience.
Excellent choice of cities, hotels, restaurants (including homehosted dinner in Zarajevo). Excellent Tour Director, skillful driver, and above average local guides.
It was fabulous! We saw amazing sites and it was a good balance between tours and free time.
Prague was very charming. Hotel and location were great. Vienna was very disappointing. Hotel was mediocre, breakfast options were horrible. AC didn't work. Very limited staff. Location was far from center. Wish we had more time after tour to visit gardens in Shonbrunn Palace. We had just 40 minutes to literally run through the gardens. Budapest was great. Great hotel location, lots to see and do. Also, don't except to eat healthy on this trip. Main dishes for entire trip were goulash or chicken schnitzel.
