Hello everyone and welcome to my profile! My name is Elgerta, and I am the travel expert you are looking for. I grew up in Berat, "the city of a thousand windows", in Albania. I studied in France and now I live and work in Tirana. I absolutely love travel, and I want to share my passion for traveling and the beauty of the Balkan landscape with you. Traveling has given me a different perspective on the world, which is why I left France after my studies to return to my country and promote its beauty, culture, and history to the world. Albania is a small country with great tourist potential, offering fairy-tale journeys through the Alps and the Riviera, as well as rocky beaches and wild nature, and for these reasons, it deserves my full dedication. As a French teacher, I have always wanted to interact with people of different nationalities and cultures and this job has brought me into contact with people from all over the world.

I was born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia. Immediately after graduation, when I was only 22, I got my first job in a Serbian travel agency. Then I spent the next 12 years working in various Serbian outbound travel agencies. In that period, I traveled to almost every European country, and to at least one country on each continent. Wherever I traveled, I saw rivers of foreign guests enjoying the beauty of those countries. I was always wondering why it couldn't be like that in Serbia as well, it's a beautiful country, and we have so much to offer! But at that time, Serbia was relatively undiscovered by foreign tourists. Then, in 2015, I founded a travel company with my brother and business partner. We started with a boutique concept, specializing only in tailor-made trips in Serbia, and in time we began offering combined circuits including other countries that we love. We became experts in the countries in this part of Europe, including Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia, Albania, Romania & Bulgaria. Since then, I have been living my dream. I work with clients from all over the world who want to experience the Balkans in an authentic way, creating their own fantastic experiences. Having our in-ground operations office in Belgrade, Serbia enables me to be sure that the service we provide is really personalized for each customer and absolutely one of a kind.

I was born in Niksic, Montenegro, but grew up in Podgorica. From a young age, my parents exposed me to the natural world and helped me build strong bonds with the world I live in. As a child, I loved spending time in nature and started kayaking. Later came my interest in hiking, rock climbing, and speleology, which all led to me choosing Geography as my university major. During my studies, I discovered the beauty of working in tourism; I joined a team of passionate professionals and started my journey as a sales agent. I started working with customers on customized tours all across Montenegro, where my knowledge came of significant use. I discovered I could be creative whilst working on new programs and making one-of-a-kind experiences for specific customer profiles. I continued my studies and earned an MSc in geospatial and environmental science, which helped direct my interest towards a more sustainable way of travel, rural tourism, outdoor active holidays, etc. My motivation is helping explorers discover the natural and cultural wonders of Montenegro and the Balkans, whilst helping the local community.

I was born and raised in Niksic, a city in the central part of Montenegro. When I was 4 years old, my parents signed me up for English classes where I learned English mostly about topics that were travel-related. This is where I developed my curiosity about travel, which led me to choose my current career path. I have been working in tourism for the last 10 years, and I focus on the Balkan region (Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Albania). I aim to create unique experiences for each customer individually and try my best to create memories that travelers can benefit from. I am an active person with a passion for traveling and exploring. I live a very active life, enjoy my gym time, and love both the outdoors and city exploring.

I grew up in Rome, Italy, surrounded by the culture and history of the Mediterranean. From an early age I developed a deep connection with the sea, which eventually led me to build my career around sailing and travel in the Adriatic region. For more than a decade I have been working in yacht charter and experiential travel, specializing in sailing holidays in Croatia and Montenegro. Over the years I have helped travelers from all over the world discover this region by sea — from the islands of Dalmatia to the spectacular Bay of Kotor. Sailing allows visitors to experience the Adriatic very differently from traditional tourism, reaching hidden coves, small historic towns, and beautiful islands that are often inaccessible by land. What motivates me most is designing journeys that are tailored to each traveler. Some guests are looking for a relaxed island-hopping sailing holiday with family or friends, while others want a more immersive experience that combines sailing, culture, local cuisine, and the natural beauty of the coastline. The Adriatic is one of the most remarkable sailing regions in the world, and I am passionate about helping travelers experience it in a way that feels effortless, personal, and memorable.
