Fantastic tour of the Riveria. Each country lends its own culture and identity to the Riveria. It was amazing to see the sights and history. We had local guides in all of the sights we visited. This gives you an insight into the locals and a view from a locals perspective. Tour Manager was excellant. Accommodations were 4 star or better and located right where you wanted to be. Highly recommend.
The tour was amazing. The pace was very active, seeing muliple attractions everyday. My watch said we averaged 5 miles a day. Only 3 optional experiences, everything was included. My only negative is the tour focused on the Mediterranean Riviera, the extension to Florence and Tuscony countryside did not fit with the rest of the tour. It should have ended in the Italian Riviera with more time spent along the way. Our Tour Manager was amazing. She really added energy to the group and made an effort to get to know us on an individual level. She made it fun.
This tour was amazing. It was well planned with a nicely balanced itinerary that included all the “must sees”, some hidden gems, cultural experiences, and free time to explore according to interests and energy. Our tour manager and bus driver worked as a team to make the trip stress free and safe for all the participants and infused FUN into the trip.
Just back from hiking in Northern Tuscany's little known Garfagnana region. Varied walks and terrain with incredible views and a great sense of satisfaction. Really enjoyed the company of our group, the lovely views, pool and family welcome from our comfortable argriturismo and trying lots of traditional Italian food.
I think my favorite memorable experience was hunting truffles in Umbria, and the delicious home- cooked lunch after the hunt. Also staying in the Umbrian hill town of Spoleto was awesome. And I have to include our morning spent in San Gimignano, looking at the ancient towers and eating authentic Italian Gelato. Having a small group and a great tour guide made the tour a great experience that I would highly recommend. Thanks, Collette!
The Europe highlights tour was a great was for my family and I to explore Europe's bucket list destinations and have an overview of places we would like to travel back in the future! Although it was fast paced, the itinerary included regular breaks and pit stops to break up the long drive. Included activities and optional excursions both offered an immersive experience to the country's culture and food scenes. Accommodations were in good locations, and some rooms even spacious given europe's reputation for small sizes hotel rooms. Cleanliness in hotels were mostly tidy with the exception of the B&B hotel in France... Huge shoutout to Angela for being an amazing tour guide - patient, organized, fun! She gave detailed suggestions for free time activities and was very knowledgable. Bogdan was a skilled driver who consistently prioritized our safety throughout the trip! We are grateful for you both. As well, we appreciate the customer service line for always being available by phone/em
