Highlights

Zion National Park: See the grandeur and natural features of the canyon in total comfort while traveling via private open-air tram with live on-board commentary.

Zion National Park: Connect to history as you wander paths and trails, following in the footsteps of Native Americans and the earliest pioneers. Lush vegetation, wild rivers, roaring waterfalls and towering cliffs characterise the natural beauty of this park.

Bryce Canyon National Park: The Park is home to the most spectacular collection of hoodoos - tall skinny shafts of rock that protrude from the bottom of arid basins. While hoodoos are scattered throughout these areas, they are most abundant in the northern section of Bryce Canyon National Park.

Capitol Reef National Park: Join your Travel Director to see the natural sights along Capitol Reef's Waterpocket Fold, known as “a geological wrinkle on earth”. The geologic monocline extends almost 100 miles and is filled with cliffs, canyons, domes and bridges. Admire petroglyphs and the domed shaped sandstone walls along the canyon.

Arches National Park: Enjoy views of these natural formations, including Double Arch and North Window Arch.

The sites covered were all remarkable in different ways. Travel time between sites was reasonable and the trips included enough comfort stops to let yes stretch our legs. The overnight stays were in good locations, convenient to the sites, and each place had breakfast available. rooms were comfortable. Travel director and driver were superb. I would have loved to have had a chance to take a ranger guided tour up close to Pueblo sites at Mesa Verde.

Mystery valley tour is fantastic!

James L.On Oct 2, 2025

Travel guide (Craig) kept us informed everyday. He did an excellent job of showing us all the beautiful sites. Our driver (Julio) was great and very funny!

Brian M.On Oct 2, 2025

We loved beginning with the five Utah parks and then moving on to end at the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon was such a highlight of this trip (we can't imagine doing this itinerary in reverse). We did an airplane ride at the Grand Canyon which felt like a wonderful finale to this trip.

Donald J.On Oct 1, 2025

Leave the driving to Insight Vacations while you enjoy the beauty and grandeur of our Western National Parks. Zion, Bryce and the Navajo Nation were my favorite area to visit. Insight ensures that the coach is spacious and comfortable and overnight accommodations are too. Our trip exceeded our expectations.

It was a great trip. The National Parks are beautiful and we enjoyed being able to stay in the parks when possible. Our tour guide was excellent. One of our best trips

Itinerary is full - minimal down time. Participants should be prepared for high activity level. Trip did fulfill/accomplish all sites promised. (Lodging at Grand Canyon Lodge was disappointing-broken light in room, tv no or minimal reception due to outdated technology, very worn carpet & rooms were not within walking distance of meal area. Suggest those planning & scheduling accommodations should know properties in order to prepare guests to fact they are not on par with usual Insight stays.) Tour Director Jason Cohen made trip Aone!

Stephen S.On Sep 25, 2025

Great views at the parks, and the scenery between them was fantastic also. Excellent accommodations and the tour bas was great.

Every place we stopped was absolutely beautiful! Places that I never heard of were terrific~like Monument Valley. See photo for map.

S. T.On Sep 25, 2025

Great tour, but we were so close to the Four Corners we could have stopped there. Scenery was spectacular! The dinners with the Navajos were excellent, especially the settings where we ate. Maybe a little down time in the middle of the trip would have been great to catch your breath. Our guide Jason was excellent, full of information and knowledge. Our group of travelers, watched out for each other and enjoyed each others company. Great group!

Dwight D.On Sep 25, 2025

The Wonders of the West tour was especially good because many national parks were within close proximity which avoided long stretches between stops. Also, many stops were 2 nighters which helped minimized packing/ repacking chores.

The itinerary was excellent well organised. Our tour director and coach driver Kevin were wonderful. Very knowledgeable efficient caring people they made the tour even more enjoyable.

If someone is a nature lover, this is one of the trips to take. The rock formations are breathtaking. The itinerary was designed to cover all the National Parks of Utah. I would suggest that one day at Monument Valley is adequate rather than spending 2 days there.

Kathryn H.On Jun 24, 2025

We visited the major national parks in UT, AZ, CO, NV with some side visits, which were fun and had a great tour guide and driver (and made enough rest stops.)

Pamela D.On Jun 24, 2025

The beauty of the West is unparalleled. This trip brings you to many of these magnificent wonders.

Needs more time in Zion and/or Mesa Verde and less in Monument Valley but otherwise a good itinerary. Be prepared for a good bit of bus/travel time.
