Wonderful time in Bhutan Stunning mountainous scenery and fascinating cultural place to visit. We were lucky enough to be in Paro for their annual Festival. Our Druk Path trek was challenging at times but made comfortable and safe by our fabulous guide Lhab and his attentive crew. The food is excellent. The other travelers in our group were so much fun . We travelled on for another 6 days to central Bhutan with our excellent guide Singye and Driver Tanjin and would highly recommend exploring this part of Bhutan

We arrived at Paro airport full of excitement and anticipation. Our local guide met us and instantly made us feel re-assured that this was going to be an amazing experience. Everything from the drivers, accommodation, food and lovely cultural experiences through to our amazing trek was what we expected and more. The standout has to be the incredibly helpful, friendly and obliging people. Nothing was too hard and everything was done with a goal to please. If you are looking for 5 star silver service don't bother. But if you are happy with comfortable, ok occasionally muddy and damp, but exhilarating and unique then this is the trip for you. We loved everything about Bhutan and hope to get back there one day, if for nothing else than to re-connect with guides and peoples that became friends.
