This morning, we will journey to Kampong Khleang, one of the remarkable floating villages on the Tonlé Sap Lake. These vibrant communities are built to adapt to the lake’s dramatic seasonal water level changes, with homes, schools, shops, and temples either floating on the water or perched on towering stilts.
Home to thousands of residents, Kampong Khleang offers a truly authentic glimpse into local life. Upon arrival, we will board a boat to explore the village, glide through the waterways, and meet with locals to gain a deeper understanding of their daily traditions and way of life.

In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel for a sightseeing tour to Cu Chi Tunnels.
An immense network of underground tunnels used by the Vietcong as a military base during the Vietnam War. See a short introductory video showing how the Ho Chi Minh tunnels were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels. There are various mantraps on display and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by B52 bombers.
After lunch we return to Ho Chi Minh City to visit major sights providing an overview of colonial and modern history that has shaped this vibrant city.
Notre Dame Cathedral and the General Post Office provide a glimpse into the traditions of French Colonial Architecture and stand as testament to bygone eras.
The Museum of War Remnants provides a sobering look at the Vietnam War through powerful exhibits, photographs, and artifacts that document the impact of the conflict on Vietnam and its people.
Reunification Palace, also known as the Independence Palace. This historic site served as the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

The day begins with a serene dragon boat ride on the Perfume River, allowing you to soak in the picturesque landscapes and tranquil atmosphere. Our first stop will be Thien Mu Pagoda, also known as the Pagoda of the Heavenly Lady. This historic site, with its seven-story tower, is a symbol of Hue.
Next, we will visit the Tu Duc Tomb, one of the most elaborate royal tombs of the Nguyen emperors. Nestled in a lush landscape, this site features beautiful gardens, lakes, and traditional Vietnamese architecture, reflecting the emperor's love for poetry and nature.
After lunch, visit Forbidden City to discover the legacy of the Nguyen royal dynasty and explore the bustling Dong Ba market.

Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, originally dedicated to Confucius and a symbol of the country’s scholarly heritage.
After lunch, visit the renowned Museum of Ethnology, one of Vietnam’s finest museums, offering a deep look into the diverse cultures of the nation. Later, climb aboard a traditional cyclo for a leisurely ride through the bustling Old Quarter. As you wind through its maze of narrow streets, soak in the lively atmosphere of local markets, street food vendors, and artisan shops.
In the evening, enjoy a performance of the Water Puppet Show, a unique Vietnamese art form. On a water-filled stage, puppeteers hidden behind bamboo screens bring intricately carved wooden puppets to life, creating a magical and unforgettable cultural experience.

Note: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is open from Tuesday to Thursday and weekends from 8am to 11pm. Closed on Mondays and Fridays. The mausoleum is closed for two months of the year, usually October and November, when Ho Chi Minh’s body is undergoing maintenance by an Russian expert.
Today, you will transfer by coach to Halong Bay. Upon arrival, board a tender boat to reach your cruise and check into your cabin.
