We pick up between 4:20 am to 5:20 am and set out early for sunrise at Angkor Archaeological Park, a World Heritage site. Pay the entrance fee from your own account and make your way to the first stop at Angkor Wat for sunrise. Visit the largest and most impressive of all Angkor temples, considered among one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Then continue with your guide and group to the fortified city of Angkor Thom, which covers an area of 6 square miles. Enter by the monumental South Gate over a causeway lined on either side by statues of demons and gods, each carrying a giant naga, a deity in the form of a snake. Stop at the Bayon temple and continue to the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper Kings, then onward to Ta Prohm. Experience the Cambodian countryside, Kampot and Kep, two of Cambodia’s hidden gems, in just one day! The tour starts with a pick-up from Sihanoukville, and then a two-hour drive to Kampot by car. Explore Kampot town and catch sight of the rustic French colonial buildings. Discover the history and architecture as we explore the town’s streets. Immerse yourself in authentic Cambodian culture with visits to a fishing village, traditional salt field, pepper farm and Phnom Chhngok Cave Temple, a brick temple nestled inside the limestone cave dedicated to Shiva. Then, head to the coastal town of Kep, 25km from Kampot and best known for its seafood, especially crab. Kep is also a French colonial town showing remnants of old French architecture. Now is the best time to see Kep town as the former sea and mountainside villas which were abandoned during war time are now slowly deteriorating. Be thrilled by the bustling activities at the crab market then relax at the tropical beach along Kep’s seashore. Enjoy the laidback and quiet beach environment along Kep’s coastline. You may wish to cool off at its clear waters or simply take in the fresh air and wonderful seascape while you watch locals hanging out. The tour ends with a drop-off in Sihanoukville.

Full-day, Small Group Angkor Wat Tour from Siem Reap

We will start this day with a pick up from your hotel in the morning. Meet your guide and board your vehicle. Then, head off to explore the temples of Angkor National Park, a World Heritage site and the world’s largest religious monument. Pay the entrance fee on your own account at the ticket office where we will stop for you to buy one and make your way with the guide to the first stop at Angkor Wat to visit the largest and most impressive of all Angkor temples, considered among one of the 7th Wonders of the World. Angkor Wat was built between 1113-1150 AD. and dedicated to Vishnu, the Hindu god of preservation. It's the best preserved of all the temples. Its layout and its scale are simply breathtaking, the wall surrounding the enclosure measures 1,000 by 800 meters and the moat, said to represent the oceans of the world is 200 meters wide. Angkor Wat is an architectural allegory of the mythical Mount Meru in the center of the world (Himalaya). This amazing temple homes the longest continuous bas relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls. We also explore the Angkor Thom complex. Its vast walls, some 6m wide, 8m high and 13km in length contain many monuments. Inside the walls the king, his relatives and officials, military officers and priests took residence, the rest of the people lived outside of the great enclosure, between the two artificial lakes. Our visit will begin with the South Gate, a beautiful introduction to Angkor Thom with well-restored statues of Asuras (demons) and gods lining the bridge. Inside the complex, we will first visit the Bayon with 200 endless smiling faces. We will continue to the Elephant Terrace, which owes its name to its outstanding depiction of these animals and the Terrace of Leper King, which presents a magnificent sculpture, popularly known as the leper king. Then we continue the tour to Ta Phrom, a monastery built by the king Jayavarman VII. Ta Phrom has been controversially left to the destructive power of the jungle by French archaeologists to demonstrate the awesome power of nature. It has been largely consumed by the jungle and as you will climb through the dilapidated stone structures you will see many giant trees growing out of the top of the temple itself. At every turn, you will expect to see Indiana Jones or Lara Croft step out from behind a fallen pillar around you! This tour concludes with a return transfer to your hotel or any requested drop off point within the city center.

Floating Villages, Tonle Sap Lake and Mangrove Forest

This tour will take you to three villages along the Tonle Sap floodplains — discover Cambodia’s most important economic and ecological resource! We will pick up from your hotel at 7:00 am and drive 15 km from Siem Reap to the boat docks of Chong Khneas. Board a local boat for a lovely ride onto the Tonle Sap through the floating village and market of Chong Khneas and villages on high stilts. Visit Kopong Phluk mangrove forest and the remote Kompong Khleang, the village on stilts. See how villagers uniquely live in harmony in this uncommon setting over/on water. Great itinerary and super wonderful Tour Director We enjoyed all the sights and background information provided. I have just finished the Epic Asia and therefore the 10 day Cambodia tour with intro and would highly recommend. The tour was a mix of cities and beaches and i love both! Koh Rong was definitely my fave destination because of the stunning beaches and the snorkel boat trip. Also, such a yummy bbq on the second evening. My tour leader was Jabs and he was the most fun and always made sure the tour was running smoothly. Thank you for the best trip Jabs!!!

Done my first ever Intro tour and went for the Epic Asia to see Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia! Honestly they were all incredible for different reasons 🤯! I had Ellie, Morgan and Sexy Mama Tola for the tours and their individual personalities made each trip. Ellie in Thailand, Morgan in Vietnam and Tola in Cambodia are honestly the best! For our big group, they all managed to keep us all on time, keep the peace, keep the spirits high, keep us all safe and set the standards extremely high! The itineraries were a great mix of activities and down time to relax and I made friends for life 🤩 Would 100% go back and do it all again 🥰

I just finished the Thailand part of my Epic Asia tour and I had such an amazing experience. Katie Weatherill, our group leader, made the experience faultless. From the get go she was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the trip and was so personable to approach with any questions or issues. It felt like having a good friend as our leader. The trip was so well organised down to a T and we managed to have the perfect balance of fitting so much into the 18 days and also having rest mornings/afternoons to catch up on some chill time. Katie kept us all in line without being bossy and keeping us laughing with her brilliant sense of humour and bubbly personality. I can’t thank her enough for the energy and special touches she put into our trip. 10/10 would recommend!
