Itinerary
Set sail with the whole family on a seven-day cruise along Turkey’s sparkling Mediterranean coast. The 'Turkey Family Cruise' tour offers a relaxed, sun-filled escape aboard a traditional gulet, with plenty of opportunities for swimming, kayaking, and wildlife encounters. Visit Oludeniz, walk through Butterfly Valley, and explore the ruins of St. Nicholas Island. Keep an eye out for rare loggerhead turtles and soak in the coastal scenery before returning to Fethiye. With a family-friendly itinerary and a balance of adventure and leisure, the USP is clear: a safe, comfortable, and memorable sailing holiday designed for families to share unforgettable moments on Turkey’s turquoise waters.
day 1 - Fethiye to Boncuklu Bay or Tarzan Bay
Fethiye – Samanlik Bay or Red Island – Boncuklu Bay or Tarzan Bay. Once you have arrived in Fethiye, you meet the crew at 14:00 and have a moment to settle in before we walk down to the gulet. We leave the harbour at 14:30 and head to either Samanlik Bay or Red Island, both offering clear, sheltered water that is perfect for your first swim of the trip.
Later in the afternoon, we continue to Boncuklu Bay or Tarzan Bay and anchor for the night. These bays are calm and scenic, giving you time to relax on deck before we share dinner on board. After the meal, you can unwind and enjoy the peaceful setting as evening settles across the water.
day 2 - Butterfly Valley, Oludeniz & St Nicholas
Boncuklu Bay or Tarzan Bay – Butterfly Valley – Oludeniz – St Nicholas. We sail early and arrive at Butterfly Valley for breakfast. The bay sits beneath steep cliffs and opens onto a small beach, giving you the chance for a short walk ashore or a morning swim before we continue along the coast.
By late morning, we reach the Blue Lagoon in Oludeniz. We stop here to swim and enjoy the calm water, while you can paddleboard if you like, or alternatively you can opt to paraglide from Babadag Mountain for wide coastal views.
In the afternoon, we anchor at St Nicholas. You can explore the simple Byzantine ruins or walk up to the chapel for views across the bays before we meet on deck for a relaxed cooking class and dinner.
Please note: that the preparation of Manti may vary depending on the season and ingredient availability.

St Nicholas – Kas – Kekova – Simena – Gokkaya Bay. Today, we start the day sailing past Patara Beach before breakfast. After we eat on board, we arrive in Kas, where you have free time to explore the harbour, visit small shops, or enjoy a Turkish coffee overlooking the marina. You can also choose to join an optional scuba dive, as Kas is known for its clear water and marine life.
After lunch, we continue toward Kekova Island to view the Sunken City from the deck. Swimming is not allowed here to protect the site. In the afternoon, we visit Simena Village, where a short walk up to the castle gives wide views across the coastline.
Later, we sail to Gokkaya Bay for the night and enjoy a relaxed evening on board.
day 4 - Demre, Pirates Cave & Buzaglik
Gokkaya Bay – Demre - Buzaglik Bay. After, breakfast, we start the day in Gokkaya Bay, where you can enjoy a morning swim or a quiet paddleboard session before we set course for Demre Harbour. Here, we make a short stop for guests leaving or joining the cruise.
Once everyone is back on board, we sail past Pirates Cave, a small opening in the cliffs shaped by years of waves, and continue toward Turtle Beach. We stop here for a refreshing swim, and with a bit of luck, you may spot Caretta Caretta turtles, which often surface in the calm water.
By the afternoon, we anchor at Buzaglik Bay or Camlik Bay. These sheltered coves are surrounded by pine-covered hills and offer clear, still water ideal for swimming or simply relaxing on deck.
day 5 - Hamidiye Bay, Simena & Kas
Simena - Kekova - Tersane Bay - Kas. This morning, we begin the morning in Hamidiye Bay before taking a short tender ashore to Simena. You can wander through the village’s narrow stone paths, try homemade ice cream from local families, or walk up to the castle for wide views across the Kekova coastline.
Back on board, we sail slowly over the Sunken City, where the outlines of old stairways and walls can be seen beneath the surface. Our next stop is Tersane Bay, once an ancient shipyard and now a quiet inlet where we pause for a swim.
Depending on sea conditions, we anchor at Aperlai Bay, Inonu Bay or Ufakdere Bay for lunch. Each of these sheltered spots offers clear water and a peaceful setting to swim or relax on deck.
By late afternoon, we arrive in Kas, where you will have free time to explore, browse small shops or enjoy a coffee by the harbour. You also have the option to join a scuba dive here, as the water around Kas is calm and known for its visibility. Later, we sail a short distance to Limanagzi Bay or Hidayet Bay for the night.
day 6 - Patara Coast, Butterfly Valley & Oludeniz
Kas – Butterfly Valley – Oludeniz – St Nicholas. Today, we begin by cruising past the long stretch of Patara Beach before dropping anchor at Butterfly Valley for breakfast. The valley is framed by steep rock walls and opens onto a small beach, and you can take a short walk ashore or enjoy a swim before we continue.
By late morning, we arrive at the Blue Lagoon in Oludeniz, where we stop to swim and relax in the calm shallows. You can paddleboard if you like, or alternatively, you can opt to paraglide from Babadag Mountain for wide coastal views.
After lunch at Soguksu Bay or Camel Beach, we make our way to St Nicholas for our final night. You can explore the island’s simple ruins or walk up to the chapel for a quiet sunset view before we settle in for the evening.
day 7 - Return to Fethiye
St Nicholas – Tarzan Bay – Samanlik Bay – Fethiye. After our final breakfast, we leave St Nicholas and make our way to Tarzan Bay. You have time for a last swim in the clear morning water before we continue toward Samanlik Bay, where we pause for lunch and a final chance to enjoy the sea.
By mid-afternoon, we return to Fethiye Harbour, arriving at around 16:00. Once docked, you say your goodbyes to the crew and make your way to the airport for your onward flight.
