day 2 - Taormina – Mount Etna – Taormina

Start the day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel. Afterward, meet with the tour guide and head to Mt. Etna, the highest peak in Sicily and Europe's most active volcano. The surrounding area, known as the \"Park of Etna,\" is one of Italy's largest protected regions. Along the way, you will be amazed by the diverse vegetation and landscapes before reaching the “Silvestri Craters” (around 1,900 meters). From here, you have the option to join an excursion by jeep and cableway (at an additional cost). After sampling some local Sicilian specialties, return to the hotel for a relaxing evening and enjoy your dinner at the hotel. day 3 - Taormina – Syracuse – Taormina

After breakfast at the hotel, meet with the tour guide and begin the day trip to Syracuse, one of the island's most fascinating archaeological sites. Visit the Archaeological Park (additional cost), the Roman Amphitheatre, the Greek Theatre, the Ear of Dionysus, and the Cave of the Cordari. day 4 - Free Day In Taormina

Today after breakfast, you have the option to explore the city at your leisure, or take a trip to Agrigento for a step back in time at the Valley of the Temples, where you can admire well-preserved ancient Greek structures. Marvel at the Temple of Concordia and wander through the city’s historic center, a charming blend of medieval and Baroque architecture. Discover the region’s rich past at the Archaeological Museum and savor Sicilian flavors at local trattorias, offering everything from fresh seafood to traditional pastries. Agrigento presents a perfect combination of history, culture, and culinary delights. Return to the hotel for a relaxing dinner.

After all the exploration, head to your hotel for the night.

day 5 - Taormina Coast

In the morning after breakfast at the hotel, meet your tour guide and head to the port of Giardini Naxos for the “Taormina Coast to Coast by Boat” excursion. On this tour, you will explore the natural beauty of the coastline between Giardini Naxos and Taormina, aboard a comfortable traditional boat. Enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Etna and the surrounding scenery. If weather conditions and currents allow, you’ll have the chance to visit the famous “Grotta Azzurra” sea cave, along with rock formations and the beautiful Nature Reserve of Isola Bella. Afterward, return to the hotel to enjoy your dinner.

Snorkeling is the best way to discover the coasts of one of Italy’s most beautiful islands. Simple and fun! You can admire some magnificent views such as “Isola Bella'' and “Grotta Azzurra” and you can snorkel along the vertical walls in the bay of the blue cave and in the marine park of Isola Bella, surrounded by a vast variety of flora and fauna. The morphology of the coast and the sea beds is unique in its kind. All our tours consist of interesting, detailed explanations of the area’s history because there are many archaeological traces of the Greek/Roman period. Optional: Excursion to Aeolian Islands: Lipari & Vulcano
Meet the tour guide and start your day trip excursion to the Aeolian Islands. The Aeolian islands have been the patrimony of humanity as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. Departure by bus with the tour guide to the port of Milazzo and proceed by private motorboat to the island of Lipari. Visit the old town with the archaeological park and the cathedral. Enjoy free shopping time in the local shops on the island, before heading back on board, to sail along the "Faraglioni '' and the "Horse’s Cave". Continue by boat to Vulcano and stop on the island with the possibility to make sulfurous mud baths in a dedicated area paying the entrance fee. Mud prohibited to pregnant women and children. After returning by sea, sailing along the coast viewing the " Rock of the Little Mermaid ''. Eco-tax to be paid, on board the bus (not included).

Departure to Forza D'Agrò - a charming village located on a hill overlooking Taormina, and in this tour, you will be visiting the villages made famous by the film ‘The Godfather’. Walking along the narrow streets of this small town, in addition to the breathtaking views, it will be possible to admire the Durazzesco arch and the Cathedral, a place chosen to set one of the most romantic scenes of the Godfather's film, the wedding of Micheal Corleone. From the Panoramic Square you can enjoy an extraordinary view of the coast. After visiting this little gem, continue for Savoca. This village is famous because some scenes of the movie “The Godfather”, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, were shot here. The buildings and the monuments of the movie are still here, like the famous Bar Vitelli, the same bar used to shoot The Godfather.
