I have just returned home from the most amazing trip to Sri Lanka. Hasi was our tour guide and made the trip so fun and informative. Nothing was too much trouble. V also looked after us for a couple of days too and he was also amazing and was so easy to get along with. This was my second tour with this travel operator and I can 100% say that it’s the best way to travel. Thank you Hasi and V.

It was my first trip with this travel specialist and it really was amazing, unforgettable and full of emotions. Our tour guide was Vajira, he’s a lovely person, dedicated to his work and very knowledgeable. He made sure that we fully enjoy the local experience and he was there to answer any question or to help us out if needed. We shared laughter moments with him along the way and we were all in tears at the end of 10 day trip. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with friendly people, and the tour group was like one big family. I highly recommend this tour, it’s worth every penny. 😍

Had a great time in Sri Lanka with a lot of adventures. The trip was well organized and it was a lot of fun within our group. Our guide Vajira was very experienced and open for everything. One of my favorite travel experiences in 20 years.

I had the best time on the Sri Lanka tour with this travel specialist. It was an authentic cultural experience from the cooking class, to the elephant safari and the beautiful sandy beaches. Thank you to our leader Hasi who made this trip so memorable and fun!

I have done a few tours over the years and I can confidently say that V has been the best tour guide I have ever had! His knowledge on Sri Lanka is awe-inspiring and adds so much depth to the tour. V's professionalism is truly commendable, and his talent shines through in every aspect of the tour. He is one of the nicest human beings I have ever met and will do anything for anyone. V's kindness and willingness to help anyone is remarkable. He always prioritize the group's enjoyment and goes out of his way to accommodate everyone. V's kindness and helpfulness are unmatched, and his infectious smile never fades, even with limited sleep! If it was killing bugs in rooms, changing pick up times, recommending restaurants, calling embassies or calling his local friends around Sri Lanka to help us he ALWAYS went above and beyond. He always prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of the group, going above and beyond to ensure everyone has a fantastic experience. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had V as our guide, and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking an unforgettable tour experience! I had the best time with V over the 10 days in Sri Lanka and hopefully I can see him somewhere in the world again!!! It was also so nice to hear how amazing this travel specialist is and the positive impact on the world they are having. It’s also nice to see employees speaking so highly about their employers too! I can’t wait to do a tour with this agency again.

Where do I start? Firstly, Vajira our tour guide is the most whole hearted, genuine & caring person I have met. The tour itself was brilliant, but with the added bonus of sharing it with Vajira it was taken to a new level. We enjoyed every minute of it, the itinerary was full on but brought so many memories, moments of laughter and enabling some friendships to be made for life. On the tour, you get to see and experience a full flavour of Sri Lanka, from hiking up Sigiriya Rock, visiting the iconic temple in Kandy, cooking classes, visiting tea plantations, hopping on the train to Ella & Elephant safari. We throughly enjoyed every single activity and were more than informed throughout through Vijara’s thorough knowledge. There was not a single question that he could not answer, and went above and beyond to inform, care & enhance the tour experience. On a personal note, it was my birthday during the tour and on the day the bus had been decorated with balloons / banners. The guys also organised a cake and celebrations at the hotel, which just goes to show it is not a job for them, but true caring people. Because of all of the above, we cannot recommend this tour enough. I cannot put into words how good of a tour it was, and would like to say this was all down to the carefully designed itinerary, Silva / Lucky our drivers and finally Vijara, the best tour guide we have ever had.

Overall the accommodation, travel, activities and food was fantastic, even higher than my expectations! Very well organised and made for a stress free travel experience of a beautiful country! Highly recommend this trip, you will see so much in a short time!

V was amazing tour guide he really looked after us. He was always able to support us if we needed help. His depth of knowledge was extraordinary and I was amazed about his pure passion for the island. Definitely recommend

Our tour of Sri Lanka was wonderful, V our tour guide was excellent - very knowledgable and couldn’t have been more helpful. A shadow guide joined our trip too, Dillip (Phillipé) who I have no doubt will also be an excellent guide when he runs his tour. The trip is very fast paced, particularly at the beginning so don’t book if you’re looking for a relaxing sun holiday. You see so much of Sri Lanka and it’s well worth the money you spend, I love the fact you moved hotels and visited so many different places.

V was an amazing tour guide tour guide ,he was so friendly and knew so so much history not only about Sri Lanka but so much about England as well! He always made sure everyone was okay all the time, he taught us lots of useful phrases to! His English was amazing! He really is an asset to the agency, i have had 4 tour guides previously and he was the kindest and most knowledgeable! We had a challenging member in the group and oh my god i’ve never met someone so patient and kind, whereas a lot of tour guides may have taken offence and got annoyed with these kinds of people! He truly was an amazing guide not a bad word could be said about him! If you want to learn all about culture and basically anything about Sri Lanka book the tour!!Activities were just as great as V was. The only thing that i would change is that we should stay in Sigirya for only 1 night and an extra night in Ella! (Tour 3rd feb 2023)

Also. Es war super gut auch wenn ich nicht viel englisch konnte aber meistens alles verstanden hab.bei Krankheiten wurde uns auch super schnell geholfen.das beste fand ich natürlich bei den einheimischen zu essen und selber zu kochen wie sie leben und ihren Tag so meistern. Ich war von der ganzen Tour und den geiz begeistern und würde es weiter empfehlen und sogar noch mal selber machen. Es war eine super tolle Erfahrung. Bombastisch.

Had a great time on this trip

I had a great time on the Sri Lanka tour. Our tour guide Wajira, was amazing. He was informative and spent the bus journeys tell us about Sri lankan culture and customs which was really interesting, he even tried to teach us a local song. He was super friendly and fun tour guide. The tour was varied and hit all the good spots, the train to Ella was so beautiful, and we got so close to the elephants on the safari (and we saw lots of other animals too including massive crocodiles). The accomodation was really good, the hotel in Ella has the most beautiful view over the mountains. I have had a great time and would definitely recommend the tour.

I have done trips with the tour operator in Bali and Vietnam, but the Sri Lanka tour was definitely my favourite itinerary. The group, activities and experiences were amazing. Our guide, Waji, was absolutely incredible, he has so much knowledge about the country, is very funny and super helpful. I've made some incredible memories and can't wait for my next trip!

I underestimated Sri Lanka! I didn’t think it would be so beautiful but it really is an untouched gem a place in Asia not yet so consumed by travellers and westernised culture. I felt the transport from one vehicle alone was a great addition to the trip it kept it familiar and easy. I felt the activities were well spaced out and enough time allowed for all. Wajee our tour leader however made the trip. He was a fountain of knowledge from start to finish he really gave us a in depth knowledge of the culture and history of the place it really paid off having a local. He was professional throughout. This is my third tour with Tru and will no doubt book another for the future!

Nice, friendly and helpful guide and busdrivers. They take care about you to have fun on your travel and even that you stay healthy and Safe.

The Sri Lanka tour was incredible, in no small part due to our tour guide who was the most amazing kind happy funny person. Always looking after the group and going above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and things were easy for us. We packed so much into the tour and the whole experience was amazing, Sri Lanka is such a beautiful country and to experience it with such a happy fun tour guide and group was the best introduction I could have asked for. I felt like it was amazing value for money and I saw so much in a short space of time. Thank you so much for an amazing trip! And thank you Waji, the MOST amazing tour guide ever!

Wajee!!! You’ve been the best tour guide ever. My first trip away and you made the trip so informative and fun. You’re so knowledgable about Sri Lanka and the culture. I’ve learnt so much and so excited to tell everyone what I’ve found out. You’re so kind and it even shows in the locals as you’re well known everywhere. When someone is in need you’re very concerned and want to help this is an amazing aspect to have. The belly laughs are gonna stay with me for a life time!! Waji has been the most welcoming and lovely tour guide who always went above and beyond to ensure that all of our group got the most out of the tour. He has done all he can to make it better for us and is so patient and helpful :)

Waji.. friendly, funny, loveable tour guide! always had a smile on his face! Loved learning about the local culture and history of Sri Lanka from him. The 10 days experience was great! Thoroughly enjoyed it! Great walks and views of the country.. nice to do some active things mixed in with the sight seeing and bus travel. Thought the Train ride through Ella was stunning! The walk up Lions rock was a little hard.. for an unfit person but was totally worth it! Loved every minute of the trip and the other guys on the trip were a nice gang of friends!

Always heard great things about Sri Lanka and so I already had high expectations. What I didn’t expect was how amazing this tour and tour guide (Vajira) would be. From start to finish Vajira was on top form. Unlike some guides, he was super engaging and would deliver facts and information in a fun way. He’s knowledge and passion on Sri Lankan history and culture really came through. For 10 days Vajira answered all our questions (no matter how silly, or how many times they were repeated), he was patient, professional and kind to us all. He would go above and beyond to accommodate the groups needs (including taking an insane amount of insta pics for us on the Kandy to Ella train). Seriously he deserves a medal just for the amount of pics he took of us for the gram. I can’t comment on the tour without mentioning Saminder and Nipun, our fantastic drivers who were top lads. Towards the end it didn’t feel like we were travelling with a tour group but with one big family. Vajira and his team made that possible. Anyone travelling with Vajira would be lucky to have him as a guide. He has made us all feel welcome in his native country of Sri Lanka. Thanks Vajira for a memorable experience and being an awesome guide!!!

I had such a fantastic time!! Vajira is so knowledgeable, passionate, funny, friendly and extremely helpful! He makes us feel like we were travelling with a friend and not a tour guide! He was just truly excellent! I would highly recommend everyone doing this tour, it is well so well organised! (And I hope you are lucky enough to get Vajira! :) )

I loved it, one of the best holidays I have ever had. The best bit is Vajira. He is kind, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, funny, has a great smile and just a real diamond. The tour was fabulous, interesting sights and sounds. Beautiful country side, food and of course the people. This is truly a wonderful country and you never know what you may encounter as we did with a festival in Unwatatuna.

I must say the Vajira really did make the trip, and the whole experience for the group. It often felt like we were on holiday with a friend who was ‘showing us around’ that is how natural, comfortable and welcome he made everyone feel. I really appreciated his personal touch as well as how he adjusts his approach to each individual within the group and perfectly balances everyone’s needs and requirements. Consistently ensuring your needs are met. The driver and his assistant were fantastic, expertly transporting our group across Sri Lanka. I always felt safe and secure with his driving, and they engaged with group well. Joining us for dinner on some nights and we really enjoyed their company throughout. The locations we visited were great! I would say one night and morning in Sigiriya would be enough as the ‘free day’ could have been better utilised elsewhere. (I would do the farmers dinner and boat ride on the evening arrival, then the rocks in the morning and leave for the next town). Other than that the tour structure was really good. Once again I must echo my endorsement of Vajira. He truly was amazing, welcoming and a the most wonderful tour guide for our trip! Can he come to Peru too? ;)

The diamond, the leopard really was a legend. He made the trip. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my "dumb" questions. You could tell he was passionate about the country and very happy to share. He went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy and safe.

This was one of the best holidays that I have ever had. The places were all special and really amazing. I did things that I didn’t expect and the group we travelled with were all great fun. Vajira our tour guide is one of the nicest, smiley people I know. Nothing was too much trouble and he knew the answer to every question asked. His sense of humour and giggling made us all laugh. He told us humorous stories and made our trip really special. The drivers were fabulous too and always helped to accommodate us even on their day off coming for drinks with us. I cannot recommend those trip enough and hope to return to Sri Lanka soon. Vajira the diamond, the leopard the legend is the best .

CJ is one of the most amazing and incredible human being on this earth. He is so humble and will only put others safety and happiness before himself. He’s funny and encourages the best out of everyone. CJ has taken us on one of the most amazing journeys I have ever been in and loved every minute.

CJ was the best guide throughout our tour! We were on our honeymoon and he really went that extra mile to help make it feel special. He kept us safe and gave us lots of information about such a beautiful country, even adding in extra stops of places we were interested in seeing. The highlight of the tour would be going to the cooking class and also the night we spent having a party round the bonfire with local people. Even after the tour finished cj hooked us up with a taxi driver to our next destination. Going to miss the Trufam!!

I had the best time on this tour!! CJ was brilliant and so accommodating to all of our individual wishes for the tour. For example I wanted to go diving so he contacted a dive center for me and arranged it all.. he went above and beyond as a tour guide. I loved the group size - it was perfect and we all made good friends. I had the best time and would 100% recommend this tour to others. Thank you tru!!

I've never done a tour before but this was a great way to see lots of places with a local tour guide who really knew his stuff on the area and history. He made it really fun and I felt really looked after by CJ. He really cared for us and brought the whole group together. Couldn't have met a nicer bunch of people on the tour. Had so much fun and would definitely do another one.

When people ask me what was your highlight of the tour it would have to be CJ! what a excellent tour guide, he has been Amazing ! especially the fact that me and my wife were on our honeymoon he made us feel very special and we always had a surprise for us in our rooms Fruit, flowers and even little happy honeymoon notes. Some other highlights of our tour was going to the village and meeting the local people and having dinner. Cj was extremely knowledgable and answered any and every question we had. He was also very good at making sure we didn’t have to wait in any ques the tour was very well organised to make sure we made the most of every minute we had. We managed to do so much in such a short amount of time.
