Wonderful vibrant city of Istanbul with a blend of European and Asian culture. Very tourist friendly with excellent city transport system. The Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hippodrome and Grand Bazaar were all easily accessible from the hotel. One must see Dolmabahce Palace. Cappadocia with its chimney spires are worth seeing. The well preserved Kaymakli village was interesting. Ephesus and Pamukkale are not to be missed. Reading a bit of history prior to your visit is helpful. At least three days in Istanbul if not more. The hotels, airport transfers and all the tours were very well organized.
