Ever wondered what millions of years look like in stone? The "Journeys: Discover American Canyonlands" trip invites experienced travelers and seniors to uncover the Southwest’s geological wonders over eight moderate-activity days. Guided by local scientists, explore Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Grand Canyon National Parks, marvel at ancient rock art, and trek into the depths of Antelope Canyon. This small group tour balances invigorating walks with immersive insights, offering the rare chance to see hanging gardens, hoodoos, and the mighty Colorado River up close. The standout feature? Exclusive access to expert guides who bring the region’s fascinating natural history vividly to life.
The group and guide were harmonious from the start and that contributed to a friendly atmosphere.
My aim was to see the Grand Canyon and everything also was a bonus.
If I were to sum up our trip, I would say that we had a wonderful adventure. We experienced, Zion, Bryce, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and the Grand Canyon. Along with that we had the opportunity to enjoy a great meal with a Native American Cultural theme along with an enriching Cultural speaker to learn about the life. We had the honor of visiting the Lowell Observatory. All of this with an experienced and knowledgeable guide. What a great experience!!!
It was amazing
Colourful and amazing but short Trip in the USA with friendly and amusing people
We were a family with grown young adult children but the tour gave great options for hiking, food and entertainment. Was nice to be able to be transported by van and get to watch the scenery as opposed to also managing where we would have been driving. The travel between locations worked well. Think in the write up about the trip and the hike for the narrows it would be good to put in a little blurb that water shoes are recommended or that they can be rented for a very nominal fee. We all bought shoes that really would not have been as good as the shoes we were able to rent for The Narrows hike. Our group guide leader, Megan was knowledgable and very personable! We really enjoyed the hiking and picked this trip specifically to go to Antelope Canyon knowing you had to have the reserved time to go in to it. Loved all the national parks picked to visit for this trip.
Very worthwhile way to visit the canyonlands. Our CEO was excellent.
I had excellent experiences in gorgeous places with wonderful people.
