Japan Express – Osaka to Tokyo

Small group, well organized, great guide and busy days

Since I've written so much already (and if you read that, you probably want me to stop), all I'll say here is: Another much enjoyed experience with G Adv, and although I might not be traveling with G Adv until later in 2025 (other expeditions on my own tentatively scheduled before then), I will look forward to traveling with G Adv again!

I can?t imagine a better itinerary for a first visit to Japan. The amount of cities and experiences packed into 9 days is so impressive! Every city had something different to offer, and I am so glad to have spent time in all of them. I highly recommend adding a few days in Osaka and Tokyo on your own, to make this the perfect trip! Our wonderful guide, Shingo, was the icing on the cake. He was so thoughtful in his explanations of everything, and did a wonderful job facilitating our group of 15 people of all ages (30-80) from around the world. We were a very close cohort by the end of the trip! An amazing experience overall that I would recommend to anyone interested in seeing Japan!

This was our first trip as a family (ages ranging from 13 to 79) and I was nervous beforehand whether we would fit into a group of strangers who may not wish to travel w 2 teens. I need not have worried! The kids had a great time, grandma made friends without us and the entire group as well as Toru has become "family" at the end of the tour.

My experience was absolutely incredible! From start to finish!! Highly recommend this organization!

It was the perfect way to see Japan in a short time - the range of experiences, the wonderful food, the cultural experiences and the excitement of the cities made for a well rounded and complete tour. Our guide, Kyoko Ito, was magnificent. A true gem!
