Japan Cherry Blossom Highlights Tour

You will arrive at International Airport and and be greeted by your driver who will transfer you to your Tokyo hotel in the city center. The transfer will be smooth and comfortable, and your driver will help you with your luggage.

Once you arrive at the hotel, you will have some time to settle in and freshen up. Later in the evening, you will meet other travelers who are on the same trip as you in the hotel lobby. You will be introduced to our tour guide, who will brief you on the itinerary for the next three days.

After the briefing, you will head out for a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant nearby. This will be a great opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers and your tour guide, and to try some delicious local cuisine.

The restaurant will be carefully chosen to give you a taste of authentic Japanese food, with a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to try some of the local delicacies, such as sushi, tempura, or ramen, and to learn about the history and culture behind them.

After exploring the beautiful Shinjuku Gyoen Garden, our Best Japan Cherry Blossom Small Group Tour takes you to the iconic Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, one of the oldest and most popular temples in Tokyo. Here, you'll experience the traditional Japanese culture and take in the beautiful cherry blossoms surrounding the temple.

Next, we'll take you to the trendy Harajuku district, known for its vibrant fashion and street style. You'll have the opportunity to explore the unique shops and cafes, and see the famous Takeshita Street, a popular shopping area for young people.

Finally, we'll visit the beautiful Meiji Shrine, dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. This serene and peaceful place is surrounded by a beautiful forest and offers a glimpse into Japan's rich history and culture.

Today we'll take a bullet train to Hakone, a beautiful resort town known for its stunning natural scenery and hot springs.

Our first stop is the famous Owakudani Valley, where you can witness the geothermal activity and enjoy the beautiful views of Mount Fuji. You'll also have the opportunity to try some of the local delicacies, such as black eggs cooked in the sulfuric hot springs.

Next, we'll take a scenic cruise on Lake Ashi, surrounded by cherry blossom trees and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. We'll also take the Komagatake Ropeway, a cable car ride that offers panoramic views of Mount Fuji and the surrounding landscape.

Overnight in Hakone.

On day four of our Best Japan Cherry Blossom Small Group Tour, we'll travel to Kanazawa, a charming city on the west coast of Japan known for its beautiful gardens and traditional culture.

Our first stop is the stunning Kenrokuen Garden, one of the top three gardens in Japan and considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world. Here, you'll experience the peaceful atmosphere of the garden, surrounded by cherry blossoms and other beautiful flowers.

Next, we'll explore the Higashi Chaya District, a historic neighborhood known for its traditional teahouses and geisha culture. You'll have the opportunity to see the beautiful architecture and learn about the traditional Japanese culture.

Today we'll travel to Kyoto, the cultural capital of Japan and home to many of the country's most famous temples and shrines.

Our first stop is the Kinkaku-ji Temple, also known as the Golden Pavilion, a stunning temple covered in gold leaf and surrounded by a beautiful garden. You'll have the opportunity to take in the breathtaking views of the temple and its reflection on the pond.

Next, we'll visit the Ryoan-ji Temple, known for its beautiful rock garden and tranquil atmosphere. Here, you can experience the peacefulness of the temple and appreciate the beauty of the cherry blossoms surrounding the grounds.

Overnight in Kyoto.

Today we'll continue our exploration of Kyoto with visits to some of the city's most iconic landmarks.

Our first stop is the Nijo Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former residence of the Tokugawa shoguns. Here, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the castle's history and appreciate the beauty of its architecture.

Next, we'll visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine, known for its thousands of torii gates leading up to the top of the mountain. You'll have the opportunity to hike through the gates and enjoy the beautiful views of the city.

We'll also visit the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, a tranquil and peaceful spot surrounded by towering bamboo trees, and the Tenryu-ji Temple, which boasts a beautiful garden and stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Overnight in Kyoto.

After breakfast, we'll travel to Nara, a historic city known for its temples, shrines, and friendly deer.

Our first stop is the Todai-ji Temple, one of the most famous temples in Japan and home to a giant Buddha statue. Here, you'll have the opportunity to see the statue up close and explore the beautiful temple grounds.

Next, we'll visit the Kasuga-taisha Shrine, known for its hundreds of bronze and stone lanterns, and Nara Park, home to hundreds of friendly deer that you can feed and interact with.

After our visit to Nara, we'll travel to Osaka, where we'll visit the famous Osaka Castle, a stunning fortress that dates back to the 16th century. We'll also explore the Dotonbori shopping and entertainment district, known for its vibrant atmosphere, delicious food, and exciting nightlife.

Overnight in Osaka.

We'll leave our luggage at the hotel and pack only our hand luggage as we take a bullet train to Hiroshima, a city that holds a significant place in world history.

Upon arrival, we'll visit the Peace Memorial Park, a peaceful and moving space dedicated to the victims of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. We'll also visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which provides a sobering account of the bombing and its aftermath.

Afterward, we'll take a ferry to Miyajima Island, known for its stunning scenery and the famous floating torii gate of the Itsukushima Shrine.

Here, you'll have the opportunity to take in the natural beauty of the island and learn about its history and culture.

Overnight in Hiroshima

After enjoying your last breakfast at the hotel, it's time to check out and continue the journey to Osaka.

We'll visit the lively Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori areas. Here you can indulge in some last-minute shopping and try some delicious local food.

Finally, we'll end the tour with a Farewell Dinner in Osaka before transferring to a hotel near Kansai International Airport. This will make it easy for you to catch your flight the next day and say goodbye to Japan.
