The itinerary was very good. For optional experiences the Travel Director made the right choices. One disappointment was the hotel in Xi'an. The rooms were a bit small and did not have enough storage. The breakfast was not as good as what was offered at the hotels in Beijing and Shanghai. There was no access for the tour coach in front of the hotel, because of which it was a problem to carry luggage between the coach and the hotel on arrival and departure.
