A Great Experience Walking a Wonder of the World

This trip was a brilliant time; every day you're walking on the Great Wall of China, mostly in areas with few other tourists and amazing views. The weather was kind to us so the panoramas are spectacular. Our tour leader Stone was so organised and an incredible help in a country where most locals don't speak English (my Mandarin isn't too good either), and the food and hospitality at the local guesthouses was great too. Accommodation was better than expected having been described as basic!

This trip promised an opportunity to experience the Great Wall of China in depth and it really didnt disappoint. It was well planned so we experienced the Wall in a range of settings and conditions- some of it highly restored and some treacherously crumbling. The scale of the wall as it snaked across hills in the distance was breathtaking, and being able to enjoy long stretches while meeting barely another soul was extraordinary. Our guide Olly was fabulous. Very knowledgable about Chinese history and culture, he also put an enormous amount of thought and care into making sure we felt well-looked after and prepping us for each stage of the trip. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he really cared about us experiencing a great trip, sourcing delicious food, advising us on what we needed for each day's walking and managing to reschedule everything so we didnt miss out when the first few days were derailed due to bad weather. One note of warning - to describe the walking as moderate is an understatement! And take the Xian extension if you have time. Terracotta Army is stunning and you will meet another great guide Diana.

Oliver was an amazing and attentive tour guide. He was able to swap around our itinerary to ensure that we didn't miss out on attractions after string winds caused the Govt to close buildings fir 2 days of our trip. The Great Wall is SO impressive and photos do not do it justice! On this trip you visit parts of the wall where you have it to yourself for most of the day. This was a major highlight!

Excellent

We’re both in our 60s and loved the concept of seeing iconic cities in one tour. Highlights for us were Cape Town and Agra, very well organized with knowledgeable guides. The early morning flights and long transfers were tiring, and there wasn’t much time to unpack before moving again. That said, we met lovely people and learned so much. We just wish we had more time in Singapore. They handled logistics impressively for such a big tour. Would recommend for flexible, energetic travelers.

Excellent

This was my first international trip ever and honestly I still can’t believe I actually did it. 5 continents in less than a month, how crazy is that? I never thought I’d be able to see places like the Pyramids in Egypt or go on a real safari in South Africa or stand on the Great Wall of China. It’s stuff you see in movies or books, and now I’ve been there in real life. I was nervous at first, since I’ve never even flown internationally before, but the whole thing was well placed. Pre services of Inuds Team like time to time updating us if there were any changes or clarifying our doubts and ensuring smooth on ground operations have been commendable. The hotels were way better than I expected with nice breakfast. We had group tours most days but also some leisure time, which I liked a lot. I used that time to explore local markets or just relax depending on how tired I felt. The safari in Kruger National Park was probably my favorite part. We saw elephants, lions, even rhinos. Egypt was mind-blowing too. Dont even get me started on the Taj Mahal and the Great Wall… I took so many photos I had to buy extra storage! If you’re someone who wants to see the world but doesn’t want to plan everything on your own, this tour is perfect. You just show up and everything is taken care of. Can’t recommend this enough!

Trip was great, lodging was good (probably not a lot of options in rural China), both guides (Janssen for wall, Diana for Xi’an) were excellent they were knowledgeable and made the experience great. The information on details for China could have been more detailed- if I had not been to China before I would not have known that credit cards are not generally accepted and American ATM cards do not work in all machines. Actually China uses apps instead of currency, this can make it difficult to complete transactions. I also missed the information on the tipping kitty, love the concept, but was unaware of the amount needed. Also would be good to include the cost of the add on options (spring palace and acrobatics show), base idea what the group dinner will cost per day. Having this information would help plan, needed to get currency before leaving Beijing- ATM not easily accessible in rural areas. Overall excellent experience, I would recommend Explore and this trip
