The. tour brought me so much happy memories and allowed me to see interesting places I never would see.The experiences and the knowledge shared made me a better person than yesterday. I never realized that one day I will be able to reach this so wonderful, colorful and historically rich cities which I only see in movies or read in books. I congratulate Expatexplore for organizing these tours not only for adventure of a lifetime but a vivid wikepedia for learning.
We had a group of about 31 passengers so the bus wasn't overly crowded. The guide was very good, kept us well informed and was especially patient with a couple of needy passengers. The itinerary kept us pretty busy but gave us a taste of several countries. At times, a visit to a city felt rushed with not enough time to explore on our own or at odd hours which didn't allow for a visit to a museum. Hotels were better than expected and the bus was very clean. I was pleased with the number of meals included. The cities visited in the Baltic countries are all pretty similar, pleasant, safe, clean and easy to navigate.
Nothing but the best from Expat. From the leadership to the hotels to the daily excursions. Will Def continue to use you for years to come.
This tour was a lot of fun! We fit a lot into the itinerary and got to see so many things across all the countries we visited! Our tour leader Diarmaid was fantastic too. I highly recommend this tour to everyone!
I had an enjoyable 10 days Baltic tour with expat Explore. I encouraged many to join this tour as you will see many hidden gems like medieval town in Tallinn, Hills of Crosses and my favourite is Gdańsk, Poland . This is my second tour with Expat ( first was taste of Italy) and next year I am already planning to do Balkan tours with Expat Explore. Mercy
This tour does exactly what is described, amazing sights and experiences across Helsinki and the Baltics, favourites of the tour for me was Gdańsk and Tallinn. Josh, Inga and Kasia were amazing and made the tour smooth and enjoyable with lots of energy to keep us all going on the long journey days.
It was indeed a hectic schedule, and I would have tweaked the itinerary to have more time in the 3 Baltic capitals, specially Vilnius, arriving at 4,30 in the afternoon and only having about 3 hours in total. However, everything was well organised and thoroughly enjoyable, a good itinerary.
Great tour leader (Matt) and driver (Bryan). Excellent hotels (except for Vilnius) and included meals. The itinerary should not go to Poznan and stop in Torun, but other than that very good.
This was the trip of lifetime for me. Darius the trip leader was professional, consistent, considerate, fun,...and everything else wonderful. Paolo the driver was also just as dedicated and professional. I felt completely safe with them. I didn't miss out on anything because of their attention to detail and customer service. Impeccable! One of the hotels no one cared for, but that is a bigger company issue to resolve. Otherwise, I truly enjoyed every minute of every day. Thank you all!!
It was amazing experience with expat explore, specially Darius (our tour leader) is so amazing, helpful, well known and caring. Our driver Paulo is also a nice guy and have good skills to drive.
We travelled by bus with Luke as our super guide. He was super helpful, informed, enthusiastic and very positive motivator.
Generally the trip was good. Excellent guide Luke and driver Brian and a fantastic group accompanying. Rooms and meals were good. Local guides were alright.
Action packed, informative and fun tour of the 5 countries. Our tour guide, Luke, was excellent and our driver, Brian, did a great job to each destination safely and on time. Highlights were many but standouts were Riga old town, the Hill of Crosses in Lithuania and the optional boat trip to Sopot.
Pretty busy everyday. However 3 of the 4 local guides expertly brought their city to life and made us appreciate and understand the history, culture, and peoples. Truly delightful experience. Excellent ""leading"" by Luke was the cherry on top.
Sites, itinerary, hotels, included meals and guide were all exceptionable.
Luke did an amazing job explaining all the historical sites. Brian our driver got us to our destinations safely.
It was amazing experience the Poland trip was beyond my expectations.
I unfortunately had a cancelled flight and missed the first two days of the tour in Helsinki and didn't meet anyone until the morning we left for Tallinn, but after that everything went smoothly and probably exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed all of the places we visited and our tour leader Michelle and driver Gareth were top-notch.
My first tour with Expat - enjoyed it a lot. Good value for money and affordable. Please continue to make travel affordable for all of us!
Helsinki to Warsaw was an amazing experience! I got to experience everything the Baltics and surrounding countries have to offer. Belarus was the highlight for me and an absolute must! The opportunity to visit a local farmer and enjoy local dishes while being entertained by traditional Belarusian singers was an unforgettable experience! They even taught our group some of their dances which was wonderfully interactive. Our tour leader was great and made the whole tour run so smoothly while also being very knowledgeable about all the cities we were visiting. I can highly recommend this tour!
Discovery trip does need some tweeting. Leaving Helsinki earlier would be one suggestion. Beach stop is not necessary, picking a different place for lunch might give extra time in the visiting city. Not enough time to visit museums in cities because they were closed. Give the guides a time limit.
Amazing experience! Got to see a fascinating part of the world and experience the history & scenery, superbly organised, brilliant accommodation, great company with me on tour and the best of it all; it suited my pocket. The number of return customers on the tour, was clearly testament to how good this tour operator is!!! I would recommend them without hesitiation!
An outstanding tour experience! The addition of Belarus to this group of truly amazing Baltic nations made for a "MUST DO" travel experience!
I always try to buy one or two expat tours per year. I enjoy meeting people from all over the world. Expat includes most of the sight seeing tours and only a few are optional. The guides are very accommodating and helpful.
