Reviews of our Finland Tours for March
Feedback from guests who toured Finland during March.
A fantastic trip, where I became bored with hearing myself use the word magical. Great setting, fabulous activities, super guides and instruction, wonderful company, good food and accommodation and the Aurora to boot. What was not to like?
A whole week's worth of "things I've never done before" experiences! A wide variety of winter-oriented activities, each of them special in their own right. Basecamp provided some great accomodations (both food and lodging) and the guides were first class. Strongly recommend for anyone who is looking for a winter getaway. I have been on six adventure-oriented trips with a travel group and this was my favorite one.
This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip. The itinerary was incredible, the accommodations were perfect, the included activities were really interesting and the optionals?? If they are in your budget, you need to do ALL OF THEM! They are all so so so cool and unique. I am still flying high from the trip a week later :)
First off Lets start with Cinthya. Amazing, she went above and beyond to take care of us, answer any questions and has a vast knowledge of the area and attractions. The hotel in Helsinki was comfortable and centrally located, staff there was friendly. The resort in Kakkslautenen was amazing, so much to do. Suggestions there, the Brewery stay open more than 1.5 hrs a day. and breakfast offerings could be expanded. All in all a fantastic experience for me and my fellow companions. But Cinthya 5 Stars
Tour was fantastic. Sights & activities were amazing & just the right balance between guided activity & free time. The sled dogs were my favorite, but everything else was almost as exciting and enjoyable. I truly loved my accommodations as well. I would use Collette Tours again.
Our your tour manager, Luciana, was very organized, helpful and friendly. She was always available with any questions or concerns. Meals included in the tour were very good--Welcome dinner and Farewell dinner at restaurants were great. Accomodations in Lapland were unique and comfortable. We upgraded to the Kelo glass igloo and it was perfect. Hotel in Helsinki was comfortable but a bit confusing to find the rooms. To get to our room you had to wander through hallways, doorways--a bit confusing. The tours were very interesting. Loved the dog sledding and reindeer ride. So thrilled we got to see the Northern Lights on our last night. That was the "icing on the cake"
