Amsterdam: Go Dutch and share a relaxed dinner, savoring delicious local cheeses with the Pauw family on their dairy farm near Amsterdam.
Amsterdam: Cruise along the old waterways with your Travel Director and fellow travelers. Discover the architectural gems of the old city, including mansions dating from the Golden Age of the 17th Century.
Rhineland: Cruise beneath the semi-ruined castles and terraced vineyards. Sleepy villages slip by as you saunter upstream to the Lorelei Rock where the enchantress lured sailors to their doom.
Heidelberg: See the magnificent castle built in red sandstone, overlooking the Student Prince’s town.
Rhine Falls: See Europe’s largest waterfall as the Rhine River surges over the cliffs in a powerful natural display.
Loved it full on , but it was well worth it. We would never got to see what we got to see with out this well organised tour. It helps having a great tour guide and bus driver no doubt it would not have been so smooth with out them .
Excellent Itinerary showing us Europe at its finest. All countries were magical from Venices Gondola rides to Switzerlands horse and carriage rides, to the beautiful waters of the French Riveria to Paris’s Moulin Rouge and many more exciting activities. Excellent Tour Director and Bus Driver.
Great intro to Europe. People wouldnt mind if it were 2 or 3 nights in all cities. Yes it would make it longer but worth it. Most people that do trips ere over 65. I think walk in showers should be a must for everyone in all hotels. In each place local dishes should be eaten. I've done a lot of tours, food standard has gone down. So much good food is available and not offered. Local guides point out facts but go on too much. Walk n talk get it over so you have more free time. The before covid and after covid is a big difference not just in prices, standards. A lot has changed. All in all pretty good Thank you
fantastic trip, only downsides where, would have helped to have more info prior. Advising to get a Wise card only a few days before departure but need at least two weeks prior to order. Packing list for a 21 day trip was so unrealistic and maybe was for a 6 day trip. need to send a different list if summer . When evening meals are not included, need hotels that have food options open, 3 times nothing was open even the hotel did not serve food or had another group dinning so booked out, had nothing to eat. When dinner was included staff made it very rushed and wanted us to leave asap, ask for a drink, told to wait and ever received multiple times, twice was told, (go finished). definitely not a language barrier, just want us to leave as quickly as possible, really took the enjoyment out of group dinner. only when dinners where at family farm or restaurant was any good because you could tell they wanted to be there.
A great tour guide makes for a great trip! Brek was the best!
Skipped over some places in the itinerary due to traffic etc., this should be accounted for in the planning so as guests do not miss out on seeing anything, if it cannot be fit in then make sure the Guests understand this.
Too fast to enjoy places visited
The Trafalgar Tour with *personal info removed by Feefo* was absolutely amazing . We had a wonderful time. Beautiful memories to treasure. The itinerary was perfect, we saw and did so much more than we thought was even possible in the given time. The positional extras were fantastic. The trip on the bus was so much better than I expected. Overall the tour was such a fabulous experience, and I would definitely recommend the Grand European Tour as I would do it again.
Excellent trip, especially for first timers overseas. Trafalgar take all the worry out of planning a big holiday. Everyday was a new adventure and was an excellent tour director. His knowledge of Europe was amazing and no problem was too hard to solve. and our driver were the perfect team. I think the meals in hotels could be improved and the farewell dinner in Paris could have been a dinner cruise instead of a separate dinner then a cruise. Will definitely holiday with Trafalgar again
It’s a fast paced itinerary but for someone who has never been to Europe before, it is perfect. You get to see and learn so much. It really was the most worthwhile, comfortable, amazing trip I have ever taken. Thank you to our Tour Director, Driver and Trafalga
Trafalgar offer a great experience but let themselves down with the lack of quality of food. Part of experiencing Europe is the amazing food on offer. Trafalgar failed big time on that. Our Tour Director was absolutely amazing and can't fault him at all but we won't be doing another Trafalgar because we really felt we didn't get value for money with the food for the price we paid
We have many special memories on this Grand European tour. From the day we all meet in London, from the last day in Paris! Trafalgar showed us the best of every country we visited. We are very happy! Not only with the places we have seen, but with the friends we have made on our journey!
Too many very early departures but more than made up for by our amazing Tour Director and *personal info removed by Feefo*
Jamed packed, fully professional and loads of fun filled adventures. *personal info removed by Feefo* was AWESOME
It was an amazing trip with a great bunch of people and the best tour director you could ask for. He was very knowledgeable, fun, charming, witty, down to earth and an overall ****** nice guy. He made the whole experience worth it even though it was a very VERY tiring trip.
Most of the hotels were of good quality although some were not centrally located. Some of the hotel dinners were very basic meals. The tour director, driver and coach were all excellent as were the local specialist tour guides.
The itinerary was a perfect balance of exploring and time to rest/free time. I found the motel choices great. Places visited were awesome and suited us. Our guide was amazing!!! Catered to everyone’s needs. He was also so good with children.
This tour was an amazing experience, The only let down was Assisi
