Reviews of our Belgium Tours for Senior Citizens
Our senior travelers love their Belgium journeys — here's what they say.
An amazing trip - visited some beautiful places BUT : Definitely NOT for anyone aged over 65 - the timetable was exhausting.Up at 0530 ,breakfast at 0630,depart at 0730,sometimes arrive at hotel at 2200hrs ! None of my comments should be read as criticism of Sem the Tour Leader - the guy is unbelievable but he had to follow the office itinerary. We were all exhausted by end of trip.Sem and Woulter the Driver are a great combo - professional, entertaining, informative, helpful.
My wife and I absolutely loved our trip with Expat Explore. Although we had both traveled to Europe separately in the past, this was our first time exploring the continent together and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the tour was incredibly well-organized, stress-free, and full of memorable moments. Pauline and Robbie were amazing throughout the entire journey. Their professionalism, knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm made every day special. It was clear that they both take great pride in what they do and truly care about ensuring everyone has the best possible experience. Thanks to them, we were able to enjoy every destination without worrying about the logistics. We met wonderful people, saw breathtaking sights, and came home with memories that will last a lifetime. I've already recommended Expat Explore to several friends and family members, and we would definitely travel with your team again in the future. Thank you for making our first trip
Expat always does a great job with their tours. Good value for the money lots of experiences. Customer service is always great at responding to questions and concerns. Flexibility to change your trip is great.
The trip was outstanding. Beautiful scenery, safe, comfortable routes. Superb guides. Fun riders from around the world. Delicious food. Nice quarters, and friendly staff. Would definitely do it again. Highly recommend.
The Western Front trip was well put together, distances each day allowed plenty of time to visit sites and contemplate the history involved. The route was well prepared with GPS making it pretty hard to get lost or confused. Support was great with good bikes and communication. A slight issue with a bags arriving a bit later than optimal underscores their advice to carry a change of clothes with you in case you get the hotel before them. An extra day could easily be taken (offered)in Ypres as this area, which would allow time to visit the Ypres museum and visit other significant locations of interest not on the loop. A really good trip.
Our self guided Bruges to Amsterdam was fantastic and I recommend this trip to anyone who loves an easy cycle along canals, country roads and farmers fields. They have the best fed livestock, ducks and goats we have ever seen. Beautiful homes so well kept! The accomodation was good to great and the luggage transport seamless. The app worked well along with the trail numbers to follow that were issued as a daily booklet. We had arranged to arrive at the first hotel a day earlier. Brugge was lovely and it turned out to be a good decision. My e-assist bike was fine but my husband"s bike had gear problems so was issued another bike. It was the same brand but older looking. On day two he had a flat. Luckily a very good bike shop was not that far away and we ended up purchasing a new tube. The old tube had been patched too often to make it a safe option to continue using that tube. That was the only negative.
