The tour starts at 07 am, with the transfer from hotels in downtown Calafate. Having reached the port of Punta Bandera, on Lake Argentino, we will board a modern and comfortable boat, that at approximately 8:15 am, we left behind the port to begin the navigation. We will stay there about six hours, during which we will visit: the Folkloric Museum, located in what used to be an old shearing shed, where they will introduce us to the history of the Estancia. Then, 4x4 vehicles specially equipped for this type of terrain, will be waiting us to begin a journey of 9.5 km through the Cordón Feruglio, on a mountain road, which not so long ago used to be covered by glaciers. During the trip we will enjoy watching attractive landscapes of great geological value, until we reach the shelter Continental Icefields.
