Eastern Adventure

Steve Martin was a superb tour guide. Antonio, our bus driver, was most capable and very pleasant! Suggestion: more down time— days are super jammed packed leaving very little time to catch one's breath. Another suggestion: group meals CLOSE to hotels would be a GREAT improvement.

I was not sure about the tour but I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. My fellow travelers were really great and easy to get on with. My tour leader was Luke Watson and I cannot fault him at all for the tour as he was quite knowledgeable with his narrations about the upcoming destinations. Also, I have back issues and he was great with making sure that I was comfortable with the walking and would encourage me to take it further. Paulo, our bus driver was the best with his driving skill and his kindness.

The trip was fantastic, couldn't recommend it enough. Experience of a lifetime, hotels were clean, little small though, but we really only used for sleeping.

Very good tour. Excellent value for your money. Really personable Tour Leader (Emma) and driver (Matt). Emma was very organized and kept us informed on 'next steps". Very comfortable coach. The local guides in each city were the highlight....they were extremely knowledgeable and showed us things we would never have seen on our own. Highly recommend this tour!!!

The outings and history talks were great, Brandon and Minty are awesome guys and made our trip one to remember. Got a little tiring some days, you do cover some miles on foot but it was worth it. Highly recommended!

I took a 13 day eastern Europe trip in August and what a wonderful trip it was. Tour leader Brandon was good and l was appreciative of the time in Venice as he got us in early before the crowds and he made sure to take us down all the canal lane ways explaining and pointing out points of interest, something that would have been a challenged if left to do it ourselves, His History knowledge was also much appreciated. Our bus driver was brilliant, very safe and professional at all times. The trip was exceptional value, the hotels were of a good standard, possibly one could be changed. Hotels were always close to transport as most were a little out of the main areas or cities. One small point would be that a little more information could have been given concerning good eating places and directions for our free days and when dinners weren't included and also locations of supermarkets and launderettes. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and l would most definitely book with expat again and would highly recommend to family and friends.

All in all, the tour is well organized. Branden (tour leader) was really nice. However, the tour end in Rome so travellers may miss the chace to see Florence and Pisa unless they decided to go on their own.
