Continue to Ephesus and Pamukkale. Journey inland along the historic Silk Road to Konya, then venture into the otherworldly landscapes of Cappadocia to explore Göreme and its fascinating underground cities. Continue to Istanbul before heading east towards Van, Kars and the remote frontiers of Türkiye, discovering ancient fortresses, Armenian and Urartian heritage, dramatic mountain landscapes and the atmospheric ruins of Ani. The journey continues beyond Türkiye into the Caucasus, crossing through Georgia and Armenia to discover Gyumri, Etchmiadzin, Yerevan, Garni, Geghard and Lake Sevan before reaching Georgia’s vibrant capital, Tbilisi.
