Classic Thailand & Island Hopping - East Coast

I'm used to traveling solo so was unsure how I'd like group travel; however, I had such a wonderful time I am definitely looking forward to my next trip with G Adventures! The itinerary was well laid out, the people were amazing, and our guide was fantastic!

This is our third G Adventures trip and it was, once again, exceptional. All the best bits about travelling, without the stress. Pond, our CEO, was fantastic and we owe a lot of a great memories to her. The balance between the first half exploring Northan Thailand and then Island Hopping was really enjoyable.

Great memories. Great tour. Excellent CEO. A trip that we will always remember.

Paul and I have travelled quite a bit to different countries but it was so nice travelling with G adventures. It was nice having such a well planned trip under an amazing CEO. I know if we had been on our own we would have missed many great experiences

the trip with gadventures remains unforgettable. within a very short time we were able to discover many new places and get to know the thai culture and the helpful people.

Overall I had a wonderful time. The group was good and our CEO was the best. I loved the mix of land and water. I love the variety of things to do and the things that we did just for the experience like the night train. I think having a Thai guide made a world of difference. I learned so much about thai culture and history.

The itinerary and the places we visited were wonderful. The accommodation could have been better if we had the option to upgrade.

I loved my tour of Thailand and I definitely would not have had the great experience I did without the AMAZING CEO NUII. Her help to use the local transport, find great meals, and make the whole group fun and connected really made my trip. The tour covered a good variety of things - City, Nature, History & Culture, and Beach Relaxation.

Nice balance between relaxing time on the beach and sightseeing in the country. Good level of accommodation and nice management of time. Great tour!

Generally a really good experience, like always. Sometimes I was hoping for more local restaurants - street food kitchens. I would prefer to eat less in tourist restaurants and more where local people go.

Overall very good although I say again that of the 6 or 7 G. Adventures tours I have been on, every other tour had a better itinerary. The itinerary for this tour should be changed in line with my comments above. Before I let you go, I will also note that for each of the 6 or 7 G Adventures tours I have been on, I have made a consistent, simple recommendation.. On only one tour did the CEO implement that recommendation (Morocco 2023). I do not think it is any coincidence that he (Mohammed) is the best CEO I have ever had. This tour is a perfect example of where that recommendation would be beneficial but since G Adventures has obviously failed to instruct their CEOs to implement this inexpensive, straightforward recommendation, which would significantly improve each tour I have not repeated it above. It makes me wonder if G Adventures really reads these reviews. If in fact you do and are interested improving all G. Adventures tours please contact me..

Overall I enjoyed my trip. When I booked I thought I had booked a 2 week trip and all other passengers would have done the same. However it was two, one week trips and 11 passengers left after week one & a new 11 arrived. I found the change in fellow passengers a challenge. I also found some of the accommodation not to my liking.

I enjoyed the tour overall. Transportation could improve the with replacing overnight train with flights. Also would have preferred flying directly from Chaing Mai to the islands and not having an interim overnight stay in Bangkok.

The overall experience was an adventure, as moving to different location almost every day. Thailand is a beautiful country, with many Buddhist temples, tropical nature and beautiful beaches with green water and cliffs. The CEO was very helpful at all stages of the trip, with local knowledge.

This trip was the perfect combination of cultural activities, nature, nightlife, adventure and relaxation. We couldn't have asked for a better CEO to share the experience with - shout out to Nui (Sudarat Theingtaisong) for looking after us so well, and going above and beyond to make each day so special!

I really enjoyed the first week of my trip more than I did the second week. It was a lot of traveling in the second week of the trip, and I think I would?ve rather spent more time in Chiang Mai. Overall, it was an amazing adventure, and one that I?m glad I did not miss out on.

It was a trip of a life time. A good way to meet new people. Many great experiences and wonderful memories. It was great to have all travel and hotel arrangements organized and taken care of.

Great tour with lots of variety. A good way of experiencing the culture and beauty of Thailand on a budget if you can only take a couple of weeks off work. We had a wonderful time and met some really nice people from all over the world. Our CEO Nui was the absolute BEST!!! She went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a fantastic time and to share her amazing culture with us always with a beautiful happy smile on her face. I had a great trip to Thailand, because everything was taking care off, because despite some changes in the program all was smoothly arranged for us because our CEO was a very profesional and caring leader Because our CEO loved and was proud of Thailand.

This tour was fantastic. It forced us to do a wide range of activities and see so much history and natural beauty of Thailand. Our CEO was always on hand, easy to communicate with and eager to please. It was a joy to meet fellow travelers from across the globe and it was sad to say goodbye at the end.

The Thailand adventure was really fantastic. We covered so much ground in two weeks, from Bangkok to Chiangmai and the western islands, this trip just made we want to come back for more. Our guide was knowledgeable and so caring and kind - and was able to accommodate everyone's needs and optional activities. What stands out for me the most, besides the beautiful people and scenery of Thailand, is the amazing food! It really is a country to add to your bucket list!

I had a great time in Thailand. I was glad that it was the first week that was structured with a lot of sightseeing so that the second week could be spent enjoying swimming and snorkeling. Perfect progression for maximum enjoyment and relaxation.

This trip has honestly been the trip of a lifetime for me. I came over by myself so was scared and nervous. My doubts were put at ease entirely on the first day as I made best friends instantly with my room mate. When I met the group, everyone was so welcoming especially the CEO and assistant (Patrick). There were no conflicts or awkwardness the entire holiday. I feel like I've made some new friends and I really hope to meet up again in the future. I will most certainly be coming back to Thailand to experience more of this wonderful country. And I'll definitely be doing another g adventures trip somewhere else - would also recommend to anyone. This was the perfect trip for anyone looking to experience different parts of Thailand without the hassle of booking travel and accommodations yourself. Great people, amazing destinations, and once in a lifetime experiences.

This was a good mix of city culture and relaxing in the islands. Even though I'm not a beach person I still found enough options to keep myself busy during the day before having some beverages on the beach at sunset and then dinner with the group.

This was our first organized tour though we have travelled to almost 30 countries and we were pleasantly surprised with the experience - in large part thanks to PUNA! THANK YOU PUNA

It was a good trip, itineray was a little unbalanced esp in having to take the 'optional' train trip to kanchanaburi, and only having 1 night in Chiang Mai.

I got to see a new part of Thailand. I really enjoyed the different areas and activities that were included. Each stop offers so much and was so different. The night on the house boat, the falls, the towns, the beaches. Everything was great. It was nice there weren??t a lot of planned activities at the beach. There were tons of optional activities so everyone could do what they wanted.

Overall an amazing experience that really enabled us to see the best of Thailand and get a well-rounded idea of what the country is truly about and what it has to offer.

I saw a lot of the north, came away with a great respect for the people and picked up some culture and history and did some really cool activities

A fabulous trip,loved the variety of activities. The two weeks we had were great. First week lots of history and the second week the beach experience was relaxing. A nice balance to do both.

In conclusion, the tour was fantastic!!! It is my second G Adventure tour and I loved both of them so for sure I will keep coming back for more. The first week was history and culture the second-week rest and relaxation on beaches and islands and what can be better.
