Today you will be collected from the airport and taken to your accommodation for check-in. Upon arrival you will be given a map of the area to give you an idea of what there is to do and after that you are free to explore the town at your leisure. You can hit the beach, go shopping or have some drinks at a local bar. After your free time make your way back to your accommodation as we are to have a traditional South African BBQ, braai, for dinner. Overnight in Cape Town.
day 2 - Cape Town, South Africa
Cape Town Food and Drink Experience (B)
Have breakfast, make your way to the designated meeting point and jump start your day by sampling some some fresh coffee at Rosetta Roastery. Next, move on to the heavier stuff as you arrive to Devil’s Peak Brewery where you will be tasting beer with some finger food. Be sure to capture the majestic views of Devil’s Peak Mountain. Now, if you have a sweet tooth you are sure to enjoy the next stop at Honest Chocolate Cafe! Walk off the sugar as we walk towards our next stop Franki Fenner for a South African favourite - biltong (dried, cured-meat). Final stop will be Culture Club Cheese, where you will get to sample a variety of locally produced cheese. Tour ends at My citi bus station in the CBD please make your own way back to your accommodation. Overnight in Cape Town.

Today you get to discover South African wine. You will be picked-up from the accommodation and begin your wine adventure. You will be travelling through Stellenbosch and Franschoek, beautiful wine regions, visiting four wine farms throughout the day and sampling a large variety of wines! Keep an eye out for Pinotage, wine that is made from a grape that is unique to South Africa. You will even get to enjoy a lunch break on a wine farm overlooking the vast vineyards so be sure to bring your camera! After lunch you will take a wine cellar tour and discover how grapes transform into wine and make their way into the bottle. At the end of the tour you will be dropped back at your accommodation. Have breakfast and hop on board your transfer to a local township. You will learn about South African culture and history as you visit schools, interact with locals and drink homemade brewed beer! Today you will visit the district of Bo-Kaap. Make your way to the designated meeting point and board your transfer. Here you will interact with Cape Malay people, with Southeast Asian heritage, known for their lively culture as seen in the colourful streets of the city. With its vibrant streets full of authentic scents; it is no wonder this is the chosen spot for a traditional cooking experience. Your local host will welcome you to their home and here you will prepare a variety of traditional dishes.
