Canadian Rockies & Glacier National

Visited many sites in a very condensed time frame. Getting on and experiencing the Athabasca Glacier and visiting and seeing Lake Louise will be a forever memory.

Kelly was fabulous!! I just can’t say enough— her knowledge of the area, the history, her anecdotes and bus games were outstanding. She encouraged everyone to mix and mingle, which provided another level of interest. I personally would have liked more time for hiking and exploring, although it was a level 2 activity tour, asI have back issues and spent too much time sitting in the bus, during sightseeing excursions and at meals. In terms of accommodations, the Calgary Marriott and Banff Inn were great. The Bayshore at Waterton Lake was not up to the same standards. You may want to explore other options in town.

The tour was fantastic! We saw so many breathtaking spots and every day was set up so well. Our tour manager/guide - Kelly was absolutely phenomenal. She knew so much about each area we saw, and her personality was so cheerful and funny - no matter what time it was or what we were doing. She herself was a highlight. My favorite location on the trip was Lake Louise. I would absolutely do another tour like this in the future.

This was our first Collette tour and it exceeded expectations! The area is beautiful on its own and our tour director Laurie Newman’s genuine love for Canada was evident every day. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed the gorgeous green lakes (my favorite color)! I could just drink them into my eyes. The majestic mountains were a close second. I don't get to see these at home.

This was the most relaxing, beautiful and interesting experience in many years. I loved the ice walk at the top of the glacier, the wild ride in the big,red, ******* car but most of all, the MAGNIFICENT landscape of Canada and Montana. Can’t wait to see more!

Outstanding trip! Weather & tour manager helped but the places we saw & went to were perfect! Loved the little mountain town of Waterton, Montana's Glacier Park "Road to the Sun" with the Jammer Cars. Loved Banff- could have had a bit more time there. Loved the beautiful lakes and of course Athabasca Glacier at the Columbia Icefields!!! My second time with tour manager Jovanka M. She is absolutely the best! Ran a lovely tour. :)

This tour is exactly what I wanted to see and do- mountains and lakes! Our tour guide, Kelly was superb. She was full of information and delivered her expertise in all things with an entertaining air. This is not a demanding tour. There is a lot of bus rides and photo opportunities. However, be prepared with plenty of warm clothing for the visit to the glacier! I have only two 'complaints'- one is the motel in Waterton, placed strategically on the lake with a beautiful view of the mountains and lake, had rooms overlooking the parking lot, which was less than desirable. With only a blackout curtain to block out all light and an extremely noisy air conditioner, being on the ground floor overlooking the parking lot with a big truck parked in front of my room was very disappointing. The other complaint would be the included dinner in Banff at The Boss. It was not very good. Banff is a very beautiful town, but very crowded. Lake Louise is also very beautiful, but very very crowded. All other included excursions were great. Especially the included dinner the last night in Calgary was spectacular. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Oh, also be prepared for lots of early mornings!

Red Jammer tour of Glacier National Park was very informative and fun. Our tour guide, Clare Martin, was fabulous. Very knowledgeable, personable and efficient. The entire tour lived up to my expectations. Would recommend this tour to anyone who hasn’t been to the Canadian Rickies.

I liked riding in the Jammers the views of the mountains are spectacular.

The tour was excellent!

The Canadian Rockies trip was absolutely delightful. I really enjoyed the beauty of Canada. Dianna was so informative, entertaining, and helpful in every way. She even got up at 3:00 AM to see 7 travelers off the day of our departure! That is beyond the call of duty! The driver was always pleasant and helpful! He scooped me us when I fell on the glacier! The food was great. I would do this trip again. This was my second Collette trip. You know how to keep a group busy!

Our Active Life group had an absolutely unforgettable adventure exploring the majestic Canadian Rockies and Glacier National Park! From start to finish, Collette handled every detail flawlessly, and we were blessed with an amazing Trip Manager and a skilled, friendly bus driver who went above and beyond to make our journey smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. The towering mountains took our breath away at every turn, the crystal-clear lakes shimmered in the sunlight, and the weather could not have been more perfect. Every moment felt like a postcard come to life, and the fellowship of our group made it even more special. We cannot imagine a better travel experience than the one we shared, and we wholeheartedly recommend Collette for planning your next great adventure!

Everything was good. My only concern was that our tour manager did not do head counts before having the bus pull out. She used a "buddy system" that was useless and not our responsibility.

The tour manager was very good. Extremely friendly, professional and informative. It would be better if she did a headcount herself on the bus, rather than relying on the "buddy" system.

Loved Calgary - Westin was fabulous. Waterton was nice but did not like the hotel. Meals were ok. Breakfast at the Westin was great. Scenery was fabulous.

Great tour! Visited many beautiful sites, learned a lot about Canada. The mountains, lakes and glaciers were amazing.

A lot of down time between planned events. Included meals were vey few and the food was just average especially at breakfast and lunch.

It was an excellent time and we loved not having to plan anything! The Canadian Rockies were so beautiful, the skies so blue with puffy white clouds, the glacial lakes so turquoise, and the people of Canada so friendly. I think our most favorite place was Lake Peyto...that took our breath away!! I would encourage anyone to book this trip because you will never forget the beauty!
