From the serene shores of Lake Beratan in Bedugul to the rugged lava flows of Mount Batur, every day delivers new thrills. Conquer a downhill ride from Mount Abang’s rim to Tangkup, all while surrounded by Bali’s stunning volcanic scenery. day 1 - Discover Tabanan (45 km)

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Bali if it falls within our list of pickup locations (please scroll down to the "Good To Know"section for more details) early in the morning and transfer you to the region of Bedugul, located 1,400 m above sea level. The views from here over Lake Beratan, one of Bali's most famous lakes, are simply breathtaking.

Your first stop before the ride is the iconic temple on Lake Beratan. Pray for a safe journey and head for the starting point of the trip. Let the adventure begin! Traverse an amazing maze of trails down towards the coast. Every aspect of mountain biking is covered on this 45 km journey on some of Bali's best single tracks.

The ride comes to an end right next to your accommodation, a beautiful resort in the middle of a countryside and paddy fields.

day 2 - Morning ride around Mount Batur Crater (65 km)

An early morning transfer will take us to Mount Batur, our playground for the morning. Ride around the volcano's crater on a wide mixture of terrain while enjoying amazing views of the volcanic mountain as well as Lake Batur and Mount Abang. You may expect some of Bali's best single-track riding today as well!

Pedal through the lava stream created by the latest eruption of Mount Batur in 2000. Transfer back up to the volcano's rim after lunch and cycle mostly downhill for 35 km on a wide mixture of terrain all the way down to Ubud where the adventure comes to an end for the day at around 4:00 pm.

Spend the night in Ubud, the cultural capital of Bali.

day 3 - Ride from the flanks of Mount Abang to the coast

Time for the grand finale! Prepare for an epic, off-road mountain biking adventure as we transfer you to the rim of Mount Abang volcano in the morning. Ride through bamboo forests, dry creek beds, jungles and paddy fields.

Although the route is a bit more technical today, it is sure to be a lot of fun. The trip comes to an end near the town of Tangkup at around 3:00 pm. We can transfer you back to your accommodation in Ubud or select destinations in the south of Bali after the trip ends.
