Two weeks was the right amount of days. Two nights wherever we stopped not just one. Like the amount of free time. Side excursions were wonderful and informative
It was very well balanced and enjoyable
Our tour guide, Jordie, did a phenomenal job sharing the beauty, highlights and history of Ireland and Northern Ireland. You get a good overview of both countries in 13 days. It is a fast paced itinerary, so do not expect a lot of time for in depth exploration. I do wish we had had more than 40 minutes in Knock.
The trip included a wife variety of locations in Ireland showcasing many beautiful points of interest and historical sites. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Ireland and full of interesting facts. I highly recommend this trip.
Each day, you had the option of a couple of hours of down time on your own in the afternoon to rest or do whatever you chose to do. That was very nice for those of us who needed to recharge our batteries. Also, we had an excellent tour guide and an excellent bus driver who went out of their way to help those who were a bit slower in getting on and off the bus and who walked a little slower than everyone else. Trafalgar also did an excellent job in getting rooms with walk-in showers for me and my traveling companion since it is difficult for us to step over the edge of a bathtub. At no time did I feel that I missed out on anything because of my slower walking.
I feel the itinerary fit our needs as we were able to see all parts of Ireland without the feeling of missing out. Our tour guide and coach driver were fabulous and helped make our trip more enjoyable. I would highly recommend the Amazing Ireland trip to all and if you are fortunate enough to have and as your guide and driver, you will love every moment! Thanks for a fantastic time!
This itinerary went to all of the "must see" places in Ireland. But there were extra options such as taking a hurling lesson, going to pubs outside of city centers that we wouldn't have found on our own, taking a cart and pony ride in Killarney. The guide was lots of fun and had excellent communication; we knew what to expect at all times. The driver was very skilled and we always felt safe. This is the only company that does a 2-week trip around all of Ireland, and they do it well. In mid-to-late July the highest temp was 70 degrees and we hardly ever saw the sun. It rained most every day but usually only for 15 minutes. I never wore the rain pants I brought, but I wore the raincoat most every day. Umbrellas are useless due to wind. The hotels were all 4-star quality, but the rooms were a bit small compared to US standards. The bathrooms were usually small, but most had rain-type shower heads and water did not get all over the place. Sometimes no Kleenex or makeup mirror or full-length mirror. Always a hair dryer and an elevator. We had a wonderful trip!
A great overview of Ireland covering all the major sights. Our tour direct *personal info removed by Feefo* was extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating and considerate of the group’s needs. Our driver *personal info removed by Feefo* Driver was excellent, negotiating all the curves and safely getting us to our next destination.
Well balance with lots to see and do as well as personal time to shop and explore Our director was absolutely fantastic looked after and professional support
The tour does not cover anything in Dublin. Stay an extra day before or after and explore your self. Trinity College and Guiness Brewery need tickets days in advance.
It covers all the major highlights of Ireland and then some.
Itinerary was brilliant, but Carolyn our Tour Guide was amazing. She made this trip perfect, with her efficient organisation skills and wonderful stories and depth of knowledge. Both her and our driver are a credit to your company.
Excellent. Saw everything we hoped to see. More time in Dublin would have been good.
The itinerary was spot on. Two nights at each hotel is the way to go. All the promised highlights didn't disappoint and there were some extra stops and surprises that made the tour o so much more special. Our Tour Director was sensational. Being a born and bred Derry Girl made all the difference. She was like a Mammy to us, she made us feel so welcome, safe, special and it felt like family. She even knew my perfect cousin; . the coach driver was a so skilled and always had a smile for us. What a great guy.
Itinerary with two nights at each hotel was perfect as it didn't feel rushed. Our tour group leader was fantastic!!! And our driver, was excellent!!
It was fantastic! We enjoyed most of our experiences while in Ireland. The only things I would change are the visit to Cork market, it was too long and the time spent at the Marian Shrine in Knock it was too short. Everything else was more than we dreamed. Our guide and our driver were awesome! The food was delicious. I definitely would recommend Trafalgar to my friends and family who are traveling. We loved our time in Ireland and hope to go back again someday.
Gorgeous sceneries and breathtaking landscapes, knowledgeable and meticulous Travel Director who curated fascinating details which provided context for every destination and went out of his way to ensure we got the most out of each journey, and a highly skilled and careful driver who makes us feel safe and comfortable on the new coach. One of the hotels could be better but otherwise, a memorable trip!
Would have prefered the emphasis in Northern Ireland to be on the modern times and the countryside. Coming from England where we had seen so much of "the troubles" every day on the news plus where it spilt over into attacks in our own country, we found it very daunting to visit areas whose names we knew so well and had bad memories of. The rest of Ireland we enjoyed very much and intend to return to independently.
I thought that the bus left too late every day. 9am is too late. Didnt spend enough time at places like cliffs of mohar and spent too long at other places I thought the trip itinery was a little boring
It was full - if you needed a rest you had to skip something on the itinerary On the bus once the important info is relayed it would be nice to have some quiet to enjoy the scenery and maybe talk to the person across the aisle The jokes in the morning were great and a bit of Irish music was great But to keep playing everyone’s FAVOURITE song was a bit over the top All in all I thoroughly enjoyed the trip the people and especially and
Some iconic sights, great experiences and an eclectic mix of fellow travellers. Our guide was the best, very knowledgeable and funny - and very proud of her Irish roots. Our driver was competent and careful, an excellent driver. The accommodation was good - but coming from Australia, we did miss air-conditioning on the few hot nights we had.
It gives a great overview of this beautiful Country, however, too many stops are too short in order to really get to appreciate what one is visiting. Sadly, Ireland is very expensive and that is a negative for many people. As well, it appears everyone expects to be tipped excessively. Our travel director () and bud driver were very professional, helpful, and a joy with whom to travel.
Two nights at the cities we stopped at was great. Enough time to relax in the same room for two nights without having to pack up and go.
This itinerary was the perfect way to see so many destinations in one trip. It was a great mix of very popular destinations with lesser known hidden gems. Having such a knowledgable guide sharing their own personal stories greatly enriched the experience. Optional experiences provided even more opportunity to see/learn more about individual interests. I hope to be able to experience another tour in the future!
Very good itinerary, including staying 2 nights at each hotel
Tour director and driver were wonderful, food, entertainment and knowledge were spot on. Thourghly enjoyed the tour.
Well organized. Great tour guide and driver.
See a large part of the entire island. Very informative tour director. Awesome extra adventures. Confident bus driver. Simply the best!!
