Gerry gets five stars. He's just a terrific host: It's clear he really loves his country and his job. His passion for Ireland, its history, and its people suffused every day of our tour. He's also very concerned with guest safety and happiness. My spouse and I refer to him now as Uncle Gerry. Our driver, Andreas (sp?), was awe inspiring on those narrow Irish roads. As for the tour itself, we definitely feel like we saw a lot of Ireland, and we learned a lot about the country. If it were me, I would edit the tour to add more depth rather than just breadth. It felt like we got a lot of appetizers but no entree. The Cliffs of Moher and Blarney Castle were awesome. I would have loved more time in Galway and Kilkenny and less time in Killarney, and would prefer outings to less touristy places, like to an art museum or a cool shopping district, or maybe a food or architecture tour. We will definitely book an Expats Explore tour again.

Started in Dublin and ended in Dublin. Traveling to North Ireland and to the west ( Belfast, Giant Causeway, Cliffs of Moher, and Ring of Kerry...with local stops in between). That said this tour was the best to get a taste of Ireland while immersing yourself in the local customs and cultures.

April 2026 - Ireland/Northern Ireland with Inga and Sean. Like all of the other Expat Tours that I've taken, this one, my 5th, again exceeded my expectations. The itinerary was fantastic. We saw so many places with ample time at each spot. Our guide, Inga, was very knowledgeable about Irish history and told interesting stories (some to be taken with a grain of salt) about the places we visited. She also sings beautifully and treated us to a few songs, some serious and some amusing, along the way. Our driver, Sean, was amazing in his ability to maneuver the huge bus around the narrow and windy roads of Ireland. I felt very safe the entire way. Some tours are included and others are optional. This is good because it allows travelers to explore a city on their own, if they prefer. I booked every optional tour that was offered on this trip and I felt that they were well worth the cost. I was very, very happy that I did and I fully enjoyed each one. For the most part, the pe

I'm 63 and my daughter is 20. We went on this adventure "Irish Explorer" together in late March/early April. We both really enjoyed it! It was amazing to see all the sites we saw in 6 days! Our tour guide, Marina, was so joyful and gave us so much background on the places we saw! Our bus driver Juriy (sp?) was friendly, helpful and a great driver! So glad I didn't have to drive! 1 bucket list item fulfilled!

This tour was amazing in every way. Gerry, our tour guide, made it so special. - he was funny and very caring. Our driver, Pat, was so careful on the roads I didn't feel nervous. We saw so much of Ireland in a short time.
