Ireland Adventure Trips

The itinerary was very comprehensive covering much of Ireland. The sites we visited were historic and culturally relevant. It was also a nice mix of Ireland’s natural features. The hotels we stayed in were nice and comfortable; it was nice to be in the heart of each city for most stays with access to shopping, restaurants and attractions to see.

I enjoyed the mix of activities, something for everyone. Learning more about the history, participating in hurling, trying different foods, traveling with folks from other countries, visiting small businesses/farms. One of my favorite experiences was the Glenshane sheep farm.

tour was well planned; accommodation was, in my opinion, 4 star plus - all rooms were very clean, my request for 2 separate beds was honoured throughout the trip; Terry did an excellent job as our tour guide; lots to do everyday and lots of variety, as well as unexpected things to do; meals were of standard value or above - I would have preferred less 'set menus' when visiting a pub and more pub food offered (Canadian pubs are very different from Ireland); this was my first time on a bus tour and Trafalgar exceeded my expectations (nothing went wrong); I would definately recommend your company to my friends; one suggestion - for something different, a visit to an animal rescue site might appeal to your customers; all in all, a wonderful holiday - driver Louie was excellent and I cant say enough good things about tour guide, Terry.

Loved staying 2 nights in the hotels and because it was a slower paced tour we got to enjoy lots of extra excursions and experiences. We did all the optional experiences which were definitely fun and worthwhile from delicious meals at pubs with authentic Irish music, storytelling and dancing to a visit to a sheep farm with demonstrations and refreshments. If you want to be immersed in authentic Irish experiences this is the perfect tour!

It was excellent from start to finish. The tour guide was excellent and stayed with us the entire time as well as the bus driver. He was excellent as well and was helpful and friendly and worked well with the tour guide. Hotels were all excellent as well as group tours. My only criticism would be there were too many people in the bus. I would have preferred a smaller group.

The itinerary was great, BUT you have to consider that in my mind some things should be changed. There are a lot of places that we pass by and are considered that they are places we have seen when in fact we are only seeing them as we pass by and some of them need to be seen with a little more detail. For example, when we are in Dublin, how can you not have Trinity College on the tour at least as an option? From what we heard some of the tours do but ours did not and this is something that we were lucky enough to see because, we stayed a few extra days. Going on the bus to have the director tell us what we are seeing is the same as if we take the Big Bus tour and that should be replaced with things that are more substantive. Overall at the end of the day, you did have the best agenda compared to the other companies and there are always things that people would like to see more of. But we have to say you have the best people being directors and the best drivers. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone
