Begin your day with an early departure from New Delhi for a leisurely drive to Agra, a city steeped in history and romance just 235 kilometers away. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a knowledgeable guide who will introduce you to the day's highlights before leading you to the iconic Taj Mahal. Recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal stands as a timeless tribute to love, its white marble beauty drawing visitors from across the globe. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz, the monument is celebrated for its exquisite blend of Persian, Turkish, and Indian architectural styles—a true marvel of Mughal artistry.
After soaking in the grandeur of the Taj Mahal, enjoy a relaxed lunch at a local Agra restaurant, offering you a taste of regional flavors. The trip continues with a visit to Agra Fort, once the treasure house of the Mughal Empire. Constructed from striking red sandstone and marble, the fort boasts impressive palaces, vast halls, and intricately designed mosques such as Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am, and Moti Masjid. These chambers and courtyards evoke the opulence and historical significance of the Mughal era.
Before returning to Delhi, the tour includes a stop at a marble factory and local shops, giving you the chance to witness traditional craftsmanship and perhaps find a unique memento. Designed with senior travelers in mind, this Agra city day tour offers a comfortable pace, expert guidance, and ample opportunities for rest, ensuring an enriching and accessible sightseeing experience. The unique selling point of this trip is its seamless combination of world-renowned monuments and local cultural encounters, all tailored for a relaxed yet memorable day out from Delhi.

I went to Agra from Delhi solo for a sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal- even though my hostel was way out of the way, these guys were kind enough to pick me up so I didnt have to solo-metro at 2 am. The drive was comfy, the schedule was totally up to me (awesome!) and my driver was very sweet.
