It was the best
Super fun, great trip manager, Lovely people, awesome activities on offer.
Trip was ok nothing special. If you have lots of money to spend then you will enjoy it otherwise you can feel excluded from the group bc there is peer pressure to do all extra paid activities. For Australians who haven’t been to Austria or Switzerland it is a good introduction to the countries but for a European do NOT attend this trip. It is cheaper to stay solo and explore the areas yourself. There are nearby campsites. With every Contiki you risk getting a bad group but if you are willing to chance this then go on the trip. The areas visited were gorgeous, it was an active trip but no way near enough as expected. You only do a 20km bike ride, 1.5 ish hour walk and that is it. Had to do my own hikes to enjoy the scenery which tour guide did not even know about. Expected more for what I paid but glad I went to see the mountains. Won’t do another Contiki but enjoyed the experience overall. If you don’t enjoy drinking don’t go either. I don’t drink (maybe once a year) and noticed about half the group drank every night.
So many fun add on options, loved that we were able to spend more nights in one hostel, accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Loved my trip manager. Food was delicious and filling. Would do the whole thing again in a heartbeat. If anyone is nervous to book this trip or is hesitant for any reason, don't be, you will never regret it.
