I can't pick just one. Sound of Music tour (I am a theatre person and got to sing Doh Re Me on the actual steps that they did in the movie) Climbing to Birds Nest (The vies from the top wee amazing) Black Forrest coo-coo clock making demonstration (so interesting how they make them and yes, I bought one, as did almost everyone else) River Cruise down the Danube (Very nice and relaxing) Mount Palatus (the train going up and the Gondola coming down and the view from the top where you can see 2 other countries and the Matterhorn) Of course, you can't forget Lauderach chocolate (best in the world!) All in all, it was an amazing trip.

The tour was excellent- I enjoyed touring the castles in Austria, seeing the how cuckoo clocks were made in Germany and going to Mount Pilatus in Switzerland. Everything was top notch including the food and accommodations. Our tour guide Pilar was very helpful and informative- couldn’t recommend her enough.

This was our first ever multi-day bicycle trip. We loved it. The Danube cycle path offered a variety of scenery…the beautiful river, forests, rural and agricultural areas, small towns, cities, ancient and modern places. The hotels that were arranged for us were lovely and the luggage transport worked flawlessly. We loved the bountiful Austrian style breakfasts. Our only complaint was that one bike was difficult to pedal for the first two days, until we had it repaired at a bike shop. The chain was rubbing on the chain guard and the front wheel was overtightened. Later, as we were approaching Vienna, the handlebars on that bike suddenly became loose and swiveled 30 degrees, which could have caused a serious accident. So we recommend that the mechanics who provide the bikes do a much more thorough job of inspecting and testing each one, as if their spouse was going to ride it for 210 miles.

Our cycle tour was a special birthday celebration for me and my sisters 60th year and it didn’t disappoint. The tour was very well organised, from the information we received when collecting our bikes, the maps and additional info, to the collecting of our luggage every morning and the delivery of the luggage to the next destination. We had paid extra for 4 star hotels and whilst most of them were lovely there was one hotel that was definitely not a 4 star hotel. We were very lucky with the weather, and thoroughly enjoyed every day cycling along the stunningly beautiful Danube. Truly a holiday to remember. As a result of this experience we are eagerly planning our next cycling holiday.

Favorites: Habkern Switzerland was wonderful! Beautiful scenery with Swiss Chalets. Visited Swiss couple that shared their culture through music and had a tour of Alpine horn workshop, followed by fondue luncheon! Mt Pilutus was awesome again with scenery and the vernicular ride up and gondola ride down into Lucerne! Innsbruck was incredible with the Long jump ski facility where the 1976 Olympics occurred. Our tour guide 'Mo' was fabulous! She is so knowledgeable about our destination s and cultures, history. Well balanced between tours, activities and free time! Only negative was it took us 25 hrs/24 mins to get home and we could have been rerouted for a shorter travel home!

A little too much free time in Bern. Would have liked to spend a little more time at Lake Lucern. Otherwise the trip was great. Have to say it would have been nice if the farewell dinner had us eating altogether instead of at separate tables. Also the food wasn’t very good. The venue was pretty though.
