Austria Tours in July 2026

Trafalgar's Central European tour was as good as it gets. From the tour director to the Bus driver and the excellent accommodation options nothing was missed. The tour director did not miss a trick and made sure that every traveller had their requirements met or exceeded. This is my third trip with Trafalgar and they just seem to get better.

I love the fact that we’re on the move all the time to make the most of seeing as much in every place as you possibly can after all that’s what we came for, to see the sites, taste the food, and soak up the culture. Trafalgar delivers in every way.

Excellent trip but very stressful with the heat and the number of activities each day. Not much time for lunches, especially being gluten-free as there is very few restaurants which supply gluten-free products.

This was a very comprehensive itinerary covering major cities and interesting optional activities. This was a very fast-paced trip and required a lot of walking and long bus rides. I would definitely recommend this trip.

We rode an unguided tour along the Danube from Passau, Germany to Vienna. We flew into and out of Vienna and took a train to Passau without incident. People were friendly, food was good, hotels were excellent. Each town we passed was old and worth seeing.

So many fun add on options, loved that we were able to spend more nights in one hostel, accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Loved my trip manager. Food was delicious and filling. Would do the whole thing again in a heartbeat. If anyone is nervous to book this trip or is hesitant for any reason, don't be, you will never regret it.
