day 1 - Arrive Istanbul
Welcome to Istanbul. Our driver will meet you at the airport. You will be transferred to your hotel.
day 2 - Explore the Old City
After breakfast, enjoy a fully guided tour of the only city to span two continents, visiting Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, and Grand Bazaar.
day 3 - Jewels of Istanbul
Today we'll visit the amazing sites of Istanbul and enjoy some interesting activities. These include:
Todat we will take a regular boat for the trip on the Bosphorous. An amazing cruise between the two continents along the Bosphorus by the Dolmabahçe and Beylerbeyi Palaces, wooden villas, and mansions.
Then We visit Spice Market which is one of the largest bazaars in the city. Located in the Eminönü quarter of the Fatih district, it is the most famous covered shopping complex after the Grand Bazaar.
You will have time for shopping in this historical bazaar.
day 4 - Gallipoli
After breakfast, say goodbye to Istanbul. Today you visit the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli, one of the most emotionally touching places in Turkey, The tour includes Anzac Cove, Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair, memorials, and trenches. This is a full-day guided tour.
day 5 - Troy & Pergamon
After breakfast, you are going to leave the hotel and proceed to Pergamon. On the way, you visit the legendary City of Troy, home of the famed Trojan Horse. After we leave Troy we will drive to Pergamon for 3 and a half hours. The city is centered on a 335-meter-high (1,099 ft) mesa of andesite which formed its acropolis.
This is a full-day guided tour.
day 6 - Explore Pamukkale (Cotton Castle)
After breakfast, head to the magnificent white calcium terraces, known as Cotton Castle (Pamukkale). Here you will also tour the ancient city of Hierapolis. This city was used in Roman times for its therapeutic powers. Bring your swimsuit with you because you will have time to enjoy the thermal water of Pamukkale. After the tour back to the hotel.
day 7 - Explore Ephesus & Fly to Cappadocia
Absorb yourself in history today! We'll visit Ephesus, the Temple of Artemis, and the House of the Virgin Mary. Feel the mystical atmosphere of ancient times. Ephesus is one of the most important ancient cities in the world.
After the tour, we will transfer you to Izmir airport and you will take your flight to Cappadocia. Upon your arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel.
day 8 - Explore Cappadocia
Marvel at the lunar landscape with a fully guided tour of Cappadocia, visiting Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy chimneys. Drive to PaÅŸabag (Monk's Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. Drive to the city of Avanos.
In the afternoon visit another beautiful open air museum at Göreme where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years.
Lastly, before returning to your hotel, visit the natural castles at Uchisar.
day 9 - Explore Cappadocia
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will again depart for a full-day Cappadocia tour. Depart from your hotel to visit Red valley, and explore the famous rock-cut churches and hike 5 km through the Güllüdere Valley. Then, we'll visit Çavuşin village. This village is famous for the houses and churches of Christian clergymen.
After lunch, drive to Pigeon valley. In the afternoon, visit Kaymaklı underground city. Where early Christians lived in fear and faith.
day 10 - Explore Konya - Departure from Turkey
Today you travel to Konya following the ancient Silk Road. On the way, you will see Sultanhani Caravansary, which is the biggest and the most beautiful caravansary from Selcuk Turks Period. Once arrive in Konya you will visit the Mevlana Museum. It is the mausoleum of Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi, a Persian Sufi mystic. It was also the dervish lodge (tekke) of the Mevlevi order, better known as the whirling dervishes. After Mevlana Museum you will visit Alaaddin Mosque and Karatay Madrasa which are remained from the Seljuk Period of Anatolia.
Our tour concludes and we say goodbye and transfer you to the airport. Fly back to Istanbul with a domestic flight which is included in the package.
