Fabulous trip, tweaked perfectly by Donal, who knows the area like the back of his hand. The accommodation was great, and having the trip be center based in the one convenient hotel was excellent. In early June, the wildflowers were in profusion, an added bonus to incredible mountain scenery. Uphill parts of walk manageable given a lot of tge mileawas contouring. Highly recommended!

Bert was a fantastic guide - nothing too much trouble, very patient, knowledgeable and organised. He even made sure we got our boat tickets to visit another part of the island on the rest day - which was above and beyond his responsibilities. The hikes were great, island very beautiful and good variety of landscape. We also had bonus of the wonderful Ester - a trainee guide of very high caliber. Tour leader was first rate, best I have ever had on any tour. Hotels one - Casa Rural de Los Camellos, Aguimes. Beautiful characterful buildings and interior courtyard, breakfast OK, staff welcoming and responsive, aircon unreliable. Hotel two - La Aldea suites, La Aldea. Quality modern hotel with well appointed rooms and a pool, superior breakfast, staff welcoming and responsive. Walking was excellent. Two particularly spectacular days in the pine forested areas (to Roque Nublo and down from P. de Las Nieves). Other days held some interest and a few little surprises. Hair pin bends from start to finish on any journey across the island interior, but all adds to the experience.
