I completed the EBC trek with this local tour operator in October. From the beginning the company were excellent. They responded to all questions very quickly and clearly. They provided lots of extra information for me for my stay in Kathmandu. The guide on my trek, Raj, was excellent. He was great fun and had our safety as his first priority all the time. He kept us positive throughout and gave us clear information before each day of what would happen. The lodges we stayed in were exactly what we needed and the food throughout the trek was great. Our porters were also great fun and so kind. Raj was excellent at keeping everyone together and making sure that everybody was ok during the trek. We had a beautiful celebratory dinner once we had completed the trek, where we saw some traditional dancing and received plaques to remember our trek. The trek exceeded my expectations and I think a lot of that is down to Himalayan Recreation. I would highly recommend them for your trek!

We had this great trek "LUMBA SUMBA TREK" situated between the Kanchenjunga and Makalu region of Taplejung District, the trekking was a bit unique with less crowded travelers and trekkers which made the trekking more smooth and convenient for the every day settlement and activities. We encountered the most untouched natural places of this trek with beautiful flora and fauna,Himalayas, landescapes, routes,warm hearted local people, beautiful rhododendron's covered mountains, animals like:Yak, musk deer, Red panda which made our trekking very much enjoyable.So this trek last point was Olangchula gola which located between the boarder of Nepal and Tibet and on our last day we enjoyed with some local brew called "CHHANG" and Local meat to celebrate our Succes Trek of Lumba Sumba,our team guide Pasang was very helpful guys with bright smile in his cheek, very experienced guide and friendly during the trek which help us to be more relax during the trek. Although I wanted something off the beaten path, I worried this route might not be challenging enough. But I instantly realized this would be a worthy adventure with the warmest hospitality. The trails are generally good, but you should know that the whole trip is generally straight up and down. Make sure you have walking sticks and if youre not used to hiking for several days with a pack you should consider hire a porter to carry your pack.

We booked the 7 days Everest View Trek during the time of pandemic and could not be happier with the experience. Our Guide Mr. Pasang met came to pick us up from the airport and everything went fantastic from there. The Hotel provided in Kathmandu was amazing it was near a major Buddhist Temple called boudhanath stupa felt like living in a traditional heritage site hotel. Next early morning we took flight to Lukla orgainzed by the company. As soon as we arrived Lukla i feel very amazing seeing those breath taking landmarks and himalays. We are gald that the trip was well organized by Pasang and took extra care of us our return. He even invited me to his home for dinner (perhaps an advantage of being the only one on the trek during this off season).
